sorry i haven't called, will, isis, anyone else who didn't hear from me for the last week or so. i've been in the hospital. i overdosed pretty bad monday night and for a few days it didn't look good. when i woke up thursday morning they sent me to a psych ward, and today, sunday, i finally got to come home. and that's a hard thing to just call and tell someone, so i'm sorry, but i'll be in touch with everyone soon. |

i went to my friend pat and michelle's house yesterday, which turned out to be pretty fun (i've been feeling kind of bad and not leaving the house often, if it wasn't already apparent by my constant posting). at one point in the evening pat and justin were practicing cigarrette tricks and pat put a piece of flint in the end of a cigarrette so that when he lit it, smoked it, and flicked the end off it would (theoretically) explode. i told him it was stupid and i wouldn't take him to the hospital should he hurt himself, but i would stay and watch. he put two budwieser caps in his eyes for protection but thought better of it. he said, (as if he was a doctor in the ER looking at some asshole with bottle caps embedded in his eye sockets), "well, he would have been fine if he hadn't of stuck those beer caps in his eyes." i laughed pretty hard, so hopefully that helped to slow the developement of the ulcers or whatever is going wrong with me internally. |

i got an algae eater (i was drunk when i went to the pet store and i kept calling them wall suckers but they figured out what i meant) and two black mollies. the mollies are chill but the algae eater is hiding under a rock with butter, my frog. i think i need a bigger tank. |

the motorcycle class was a complete disaster. they told us people would drop the bikes 5 or 6 times during the course of the weekend. that's total for all of the people in the class. in the three hours i was in the class i dropped my bike twice. the first time i just sort of laid it down but the second time i took a mad spill and i went with the bike. total wipe out. i bruised the shit out of myself. i've never driven a standard and guess what--bikes are universally standard. i think some makes are starting to come out with automatics but not harley! so i stalled constantly. eventually they sent me and this other woman home because we weren't getting the hang of it and the intructors said we were going to hurt ourselves or someone else. but i win there because i already had hurt myself. ha! but now i'm sore everywhere. so i guess the lesson is it's a hell of a lot harder than it looks. |

i got the new NIN and i think it's awesome but dominic got me the MCR (my chemical romance, for those out of the loop) album "three cheers for sweet revenge" about a week ago and i can't stop listening to it. i can't help it, it's catchy. and we're all allowed guilty pleasures, i mean, my dad just bought a pair of jean shorts for crying out loud. jean shorts! and on a grown man! ::shudders:: except i don't think he feels guilty because he still goes out in public like that. |

i have two papers to write and three to revise for tomorrow. sure i've had most of the semester to do that, but this is how i roll. but before i do that, i wanted to write about this sweet dream i had last night. i had a dream that i was in the passenger seat of a car falling asleep and "someone that some of you may know so i wont name because i dont like him or anything but it was still a sweet dream anyway" was driving and reached over and sort of pet my head in a very sweet, cuddly way and that was the whole entire dream but it made me happy for the whole day. it's sort of negating the dread i have when i realize how much i have to write in the next 12 hours, so i'm just chill. i couldn't go to see muse today because my parents didn't tell me they were going out of town this week and that i would be watching mercedes and dominic. which is probably just as well because i gotta write. peace out. |
