I am over the age of 18. What's the use of asking for my birthdate if you don't use it, LJ, dear, except for sending me a birthday greeting?

Latest updates: As of May 2011, back to updating my fan fiction. Woot!

As of Dec 2010: Back to blogging. Occasionally. More active on Facebook. Sort of. Working on historical fiction. And creative historical non-fiction. You know, my histories.

Old stories:
My short story, Hamog, is in the Honorable Mentions list of The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror 2008 Edited by Ellen Datlow and Kelly Link & Gavin Grant.

Oh, and that's it. Oh, yeah. Oh.

I'm a writer, an aspiring novelist lethally sidetracked by Harry Potter and its fandom. Tsk. If I can sue JKR for this, I will. Let's throw in the heirs of most authors of the Classics.

Six unfinished novels in my hard drive. Unfinished because of feeling tiny after encountering Goliaths.

I do go back and cuddle these six abandoned kittens, but so far, they're all still kittens, wet in places.

You won't see me posting music unless I do have a song playing in my brain because I've been deaf since I was thirteen <- very unlucky number, indeedy. Oh yeah, because of meningitis. It's either deafness, blindness, or brain deterioration. Did I say 13 is unlucky? Scratch that.

That's right, my first 'book', though shared with twenty others.

Haven't finished high school. Earned a gold medal instead on the Accreditation and Equivalency Test. Still ruminating about college. Maybe I'll publish a book first so I can use it as ammunition to enter the snobbish state university. Grr.

~half of my happiness is owed to the above fandom groups I'm in.

I'll also promote the veritable treasures of communities found further below in my profile, particularly Creative Writer, Fiction Writers and Word Ancestry.
