my dear friend fiachairecht has issues with the new create entries page, so i wrote a userstyle to help make it bearable for her. she told me that other people are having similar issues with the updated page, so i'm sharing the userstyle!

it'll look something like this (under a cut because it's a big ass screenshot):

this is a userstyle, which means you have to have a browser extension installed to use it. the extension is called stylus and can be installed on firefox, google chrome, and anything that's based on firefox (waterfox, librewolf, etc) and chrome (edge, brave [ew], vivaldi, opera, etc). the extension doesn't seem to support safari, but if you're using safari i do recommend a different browser since it kinda always lags behind modern browser features.

i have the userstyle hosted on github (yes yes i know github's uptime is terrible, i'll put it somewhere else later). to install it with stylus, click the button that says "raw" and it should open a stylus tab that helps you install it.

oh also i only tested this with tropo red and purple, so i have no clue if this works at all on the other site themes. i'm happy to make it work with other themes on request.

• j-idol song recs! throw a genre/vibe my way and i'll try to sift through my vast mind palace's library of weird idol music to find something you may like.
• figure skating program recs! fs is like my current obsession right now, competitions are all i've been watching, so i'd love to show you programs based on a given theme/vibe!

Let Me Know: if you're requesting fic then please give me a prompt of any kind, even if it's just a word or something. i'm using prompt very loosely here; basically, give me something to go off of, be it an idea or AU or a song lyric, anything you can come up with! i just work way better with some guidance like that.

if you want icons, let me know if you want gifs (if the source material allows for it) or static icons (the default). as stated above, if you're requesting icons, please provide me with source images to work with; more than 4 is perfectly fine by me, and actually preferred! it gives me more options :P if you want gifs, link me the source clip on youtube and provide me timestamps (keep it under 5 seconds for best results). it'd be ideal if you could link me to the short clips you want icon'd, but no worries if not.

Other info: not to get personal, but this year has been rough on me, so i'm lacking in energy. i can't guarantee that i'll be able to fill every request i get, and i'm sorry about that! i just want this to be low pressure; i love making things for people and i want to have fun doing it. also, with the lack of energy comes a lack of motivation; this is why i'm asking for prompts/direction with each offer. if you don't provide a prompt or any form of idea for me to work with, i might have a hard time. please tell me what you like!
