2021-06-24-002 1200 x 1200

Aren't you fed-up with garbage, full-of-shit sites where nobody actually communicates, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter? Do you wish your old friends who've migrated to those sites would return to LiveJournal? The the_lj_revival community has been set up with that aim in mind, and you are invited to join it. If you are already on LiveJournal and still have a Facebook profile, and would like to see more people returning to LJ or setting up accounts here, we invite you to post a link to this community on your Facebook Timeline. If you would like to find out who is still using LiveJournal and make contact with those who are already here, you are invited to copy and paste the 'about me' questions on the profile page and post them with your answers to the community.

I am SO excited that F&TM are playing in Portland- I have been waiting to see them live for about 5 years now and I've been living all over the country so the chance hasn't happened until now. We'll finally be in the same city at the same time. Not only that but I get to go to a performance that will be taped!! OMG excuse my excitement but I can't contain it, lol!! I've alreayd asked my mom to baby-sit my soon to be 2 yr old instead of windsurf/work for those 3 days, haha... she said yes without hesitation because she knows that this is that awesome. I have the coolest mom.

So anyway, who else is going to convergence 13?

Rozz Williams 1334 odes for Sat
Heres my ode to Rozz Williams 1334~Christina Death 1334 of Chicago

Roger Allan Painter 1963-1998

"Written with truth and solemness"

In the Darkest Corners of our minds,
we stand solemn and true...
With deathrock wishes and kisses and the darkes
deadly memories of Rozz...

"We stand and we stand like whores"
"We are alone"... and in our "blue hour",
We drown, in solutions, holding onto
truths and unknowns...

For the year is "1334" and our master calls to us
and in sweet slumber, we rise to all his occasions.
Carry us away and in your glory and only your glory
will we know such great "art",
that shines above the rest...

Ah Yes, the history will never be repeated...but your
defination "deathrock" will serve and conquer over all
the rest...

For he will teach the children well,
and in your name, all will know
just how exquisite you were

xxxxxxxxxxxx1334xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

You hold that number "1334"
in your bloody hands...
and cry out the release of you "art"

ms. hell 1334

I wonder why this community doesn't get more posts. Faith and the Muse are such an inspiring band, you'd think there would be more activity in here. Well, I haven't posted before, so I guess it's high time I do...

In case some of you hadn't seen it on the Mercyground website yet, I thought I'd mention that Faith and the Muse are on the cover of the current New Witch magazine. It's worth getting a copy for the thoughtful interview with both of them inside. Also, I noticed if you buy $25 worth of merchandise from the Mercyground shop, you can get a free autographed copy!

I was particularly happy to see this issue since Monica's wearing a one of a kind jacket I designed for her on the cover :) If you're interested, you can see more photos of her in this and other designs I created for her in the Faith & the Muse Gallery on my website.

I have so mnay thanks to FATM for their version of Kate Bush's "Runnign Up that Hill".
When I saw them here in NYC this past September...my friend Pete was dying of cancer.
Since then until now...my dog died, ,my mother in law died, my husband went into a deep depression, I dealt with something personal and my son was diagnosed with a speach disorder (which he is getting help with a doing nicely.)
FATM's cover....makes me feel empowered and I am still Running up that Hill.

First entry

OK, not REALLY Sure when I joined the group but I figure it is time for an entry.

I first heard F&tM back in 96. I saw them live in Tampa that same year, on the Apparition Tour. Not sure if it's still around but there was a picture of the back of my head taken at the show on the site for a long time. I met William there for the first time, met him and Monica during the Blackout AD Tour at Manray South, I still remember the "Karaoke" comment she made about the size(or lack there of, of the stage), but the second time they played there was even more memorable.

The theme from Andy Griffith and the reprise of Freebird are forever etched in my brain.
*wonders if thats why they have yet to return to "south" FL*

Any how, it's time for sleep.

On a side note, I still wonder what ever happened to Malign. They had some awesome music, and I was sad to hear about when ICHOR disbanded(no pun intended)
