Returning journal writer; been inactive for long enough that my kids have grown up and my life has changed drastically. I write a lot under 'friends only'. I see this site and space like shared diaries - I want to know what other people think about real things and real life - not pop culture and am I cool enough etc. Just be real. We all struggle.
I'm 51 years young. 4 kids and almost an empty nester. My day job is web programming and design. Other than that I play Dungeons and Dragons, read a-fucking-lot, draw, Netflix, yoga, and try to keep myself sane in this crazy world.
I am an atheist. If you are not that is fine. But, if you are a bible thumping fundamentalist; I will think you off your rocker. I am liberal, progressive, an LGBTQ+ ally, and all that. I love all kinds of art and expression. I want the world to be educated, recycle, and way more kind.
