You know the deal, comment and I'll add ya.
If you do not comment, unless I know you, I will not add you.

I don't have any rules or anything, just if you're going to add me, we should atleast have something in common. And because I'm curious, tell me where you found me.

Just comment once in a while is all I ask and I'll do the same.

Concert reports will remain public.

Don't add me for that, please.

The Wilderness Politics tour in Philadelphia (Nov 28, 2015) was everything I had hoped for and more. I have no regrets over going and driving 3 hours each way – tour finales are the best and this was no exception!

I arrived a little after 2pm, after driving around in circles for a while literally trying to figure out where the venue was – and found it. Super sketchy – I shouldn’t have expected anything less from Philly tbh. The line was already pretty long sadly, but I made friends with girls in line around me so it wasn’t too bad. The adventure of the day was just walking to find food and a bathroom. Nothing was close by, thanks Philly. I’m spoiling living in NYC, where no matter what venue you’re at, there is a Starbucks nearby. (Except Terminal 5. But we don’t speak of that venue.)

The venue was very disorganized and I would never willingly go back to The Fillmore Philly. They opened doors early – which is usually nice, but it wasn’t even that cold out so I’m not sure why they did it and it really stressed me out. As they were letting people in, a venue staff came by and said they were selling “Fast Pass” tickets for $10 to get in early. So we all bought those and essentially everyone ended up in the same order as outside anyway. Basically spent $10 for nothing, it was such a scam. Then once inside, we were in a line still. Which was fine. Then the staff said, “There is no line, everyone push forward” which of course caused chaos. Being in the back anyway, it only helped me so I couldn’t complain. THEN while still standing in the lobby, we were told left side is 21+ only and right side is all ages. UM ok, that's new, never heard of that before at a venue. I didn’t know which side I’d want to be on so I had to struggle over to get a bracelet last minute before going in. I didn’t realize the venue floor would literally be separated and you have to go out to go to the other side, so I chose right and got 2nd row on Soren’s side again, like I had on Long Island and exactly where I wanted. I was pretty happy – front row would’ve been best, but what can ya do.

Finally it is LIVE on the web!!!

My live report and interview with Matenrou Opera on their American debut at AnimeUSA in Arlington, VA!

Read Matenrou Opera report & interview here~

I was unfortunately not able to photograph them, due to management and convention rules, but I did have a great interview with them. They're really cool guys, and once we got into the interview, they were easy going and it was comfortable.

Let me know what you think about it :)

Anyone who knows me will pretty much tell you that I don't really consider myself a Dir en Grey "fan". I don't know their songs that well (except Uroborus. I know that backwards and forwards) and... I don't know. They aren't in my Top 10 bands list, yet this past Friday was my 7th time seeing them OTL. XD So I guess in a sense.... I do like them. They put on a great show, there is no denying that. That's why I keep seeing them again and again, it's a good show, and because my friends are going. ♥ I go for the performance and to headbang \m/

I was with Kim (Aki) most of the day in Philly and it was great to be at a show with her again! ♥ I love that girl at shows, she's just like me, she doesn't care and will do what it takes to get up front XD I feel like sometimes, the people I go with, I have to "watch out" or take care of them...but not Kim. It's great.

We ended up 2nd row in front of Die....but as the show went on, we were much closer to Kyo XD Ended up directly in front of Shinya ♥ and I was staring at Kyo most of the show... I think he learned some new dance moves, the way he moves his body is amazing.

I have a lot of respect for him. The things he can do with his voice and body is amazing, and the way he expresses himself... it's fantastic. I love it.

Kyo WASN'T WEARING THE TRACK SUIT FOR ONCE!!!!!! I WAS SO HAPPY!!!!!!! He started wearing this nice red leather jacket, shorts with leggings underneath, and boots. The jacket came off, of course. But his outfit was cute. He's such a tiny man.

Die was looking as good as ever. I wish I stayed in front of him to watch him more... and Shinya is just gorgeous, the end. Love him. Didn't see Toshiya or Kaoru much, but Toshiya seemed to be jumping around the stage as usual in his kilt/skirt & leggings~

The crowd was amazing. It was just the right amount of rough for me - I missed that type of crowd. Not too much where I wanted to kill people, not too little. It really was just right. I loved that venue too, it had a nice wide stage. The girl I ended up behind was really tall and moved her entire body when headbanging, which was a bit annoying but we all constantly moved around so it was fine.

I didn't headbang nearly as much as I would have liked, because of being 2nd row...it was easier to just make sure the people in front of me didn't hit me or knock my glasses off, but I did get a few good headbangs in for 2 or 3 songs.

I didn't recognize pretty much any songs, which was fun XD A lot was new, but some were older too...which went right over my head. Ah well. I just enjoy it. I love Hageshisa, always happy to hear that. And I sang along well to The Final! I knew Lotus... and when I listened to the new album on the bus home, I knew which songs they played.

Overall, I think this might have been my favorite Dir en Grey show I've ever been to... o_o The only better one might have been 3 nights in NYC - night #3...but this was a damn good show and I'm so glad I went! Looking forward to NYC tomorrow night - ready to tear up the balcony!! >D I plan to just stay up there and hopefully be front of the baloncy and just headbang like there's no tomorrow \m/

Because my ohgacktyoudidnt present so so fabulous, I wanted to give it it's own (public) entry~

First off, I love that it came from Germany. That makes me happy.

I love everything~!

( But first, I must show you have fun it was to open~Collapse )

A postcard with a Christmas greeting, a little ornament, a mini-piggy bank with a 1 cent Euro coin (which is SO cute haha) and a box that at first, I thought opened but... it's a MUSIC box which plays Jingle Bells :D I love it. There's also tea, which when you pour hot water on it, it opens to a flower... o___o I've never had tea like that before, so I'm very much looking forward to it! ♥

Thank you OGYD Secret Santa~
Vielen Dank für Ihr Geschenk.

I'm so happy I decided to go see 12012 again in Virginia last weekend~ best decision. They were the first Japanese band I ever saw live in 2007. I'm grateful I was able to see them again, especially before Yuusuke leaves. ♥

They ROCK so hard, I still love them just as much as I did in 2007.
Recorded, I wasn't a fan of them but... they are still the same band live. And listening to their most recent album, SEVEN more, I have grown to like it -its sounding more like 12012 used to.

They're hilarious guys. XD During the Q&A I was cracking up at points... ROAST BEEF & MASHED POTATOES was the running joke this weekend, thanks Yuusuke & Toru. ♥ During the show, instead of encore, everyone even chanted "roast beef!" Legit BEST encore chant to get a band back out at any show I've ever been to... EVER. \m/

It was just such a good live, I'm so happy with everything that happened that weekend. Good memories. ♥

( Setlist~Collapse )

Now, excuse me as I fangirl OMG THEY PLAYED OVER... BRB FANGIRLING. ALJSDFSDLFASDLKFLASLSAD. I love that song. It's probably my favorite 12012 song and... I never thought they'd play it I WAS SO HAPPY!!!!!!!! Thank you, 12012. I do hope I can see you again. Come back to my side of the country. :) I'll go see you again. Definitely.
