Ch. 1 Shock
Ban Midou and Ginji Amano were walking around doing nothing as usual. Today they had no such luck with getting customers for their retrieving service. Ban was more agitated since Ginji made him give up smoking. Ginji was happy for Ban and glad he gave up the filthy habit. They would never guess that today would be a day they would never forget.

Edward Elric was in the middle of doing a transmutation that would get Al his body back. Al sat patiently in the middle of the array Ed had carefully drawn out. It was perfect in every way, but what the boys didn’t know was that the array was far from perfect. They had no idea what the array would really do; they were so sure it would bring their bodies back.
“You ready, Al.” Ed whispered from his position on the floor.
“Yes, Brother.” Al gave his hollow reply.
Ed clapped his hands and activated the circle. There were bright yellow lights like any transmutation would have. About ten seconds in, the color changed to bright blue. Ed and Al started to panic. There was no change in Al’s body, which was good, but that meant the circle wasn’t doing what it was supposed to. Unable to stop, Ed and Al waited for the outcome of the failed transmutation.

Back in the Get Backers world, Ban was almost to his breaking point. “God, Ginji. Can’t I just have one more? I feel like I’ll die if I don’t have a smoke.
“Nope. You know what it costs to get them. We don’t have that kind of money any more. Besides, now we can buy more food with the extra money. I know you will be happier this way, Ban.” Ginji said with his cheerful voice. Ban just growled. Happier? Yeah right.
They were about to enter a nearby alleyway when they saw lights coming from that way. Forgetting about his bad mood, Ban ran as fast as he could and turned into the alleyway with Ginji right on his heels.
When the lights died down, the two were able to see a what looked like a big pile of armor and a person with blonde hair with a red coat in the middle of the alley. From the looks of it, the kid was unconscious.
Ginji ran over to Ed and started to wake him up. Ban just stared at the armor, because the armor was starting to get up.
That’s all I can think of right now. I don’t know if I have the will to continue. Maybe if I get plenty of reviews, I might make another chapter. Please review if you want more.
