**I'm pimping for Nigel (he didn't even ask!)

For anyone who would like to mourn  rejoice my short singing career one last time, its here: I would say Patrick's singing career as well, but I don't think his is over. ^_^

But YEAH Nigel's new band is awesome. Check it out on Myspace and add it because for goodness' sake its amazing. I love the demos. I think if Nigel is collaboratively writing the material, its a great thing. His 'new wave jazz' style got toned down a little into something smooth. Or maybe its all him and his style just changed a bit.

**I sort of changed my mind about Namie's Wild PV. I think the choreography is fun and she looks oh-so-graceful as usual ^^ Also, I will probably insist on pronouncing her name "Nami" forever.



Worked on thea's and my collab fic today. sort of. And other various ficcing projects. I need to finish up a few of these. My fic to do list is getting ridiculous.

And I still have to read Losing Faith! Its on my list Becka. >_<

Hey ladies. I have taken almost every body off my f-list until Easter. I didn't do it at first, but you guys keep posting fandom stuff. ^_^ I'll add you back later.

This weekend went to Lafayette and did the bridal shower. My sister got tons of stuff that she needed (and didn't get tons of stuff she needs, like cooking utensils and towels and sheets) haha. We didn't do much the rest of Saturday. Just hung out or goofed off. This morning we went to church and then went to someone's house where we ate lunch and then did a Mary Kay thing. We spent like...3+hours doing makeup. I vote that Joy just pays someone to do her makeup. I think its a little useless for her to buy makeup at this point because if she wants to look really good, why not just have a pro do it?? Thats what I would do if I were her. ;) Anyway. The eye makeup stuff WAS really cool; thats the only thing I would buy. There was one thing you put under your eyes to 'lift and brighten' or whatever and then another thing you put above your eyes that keeps your eye makeup on and my eyeshadow hasn't smudged or creased since I put it on 8 hours ago. crazy! I have bad eye wrinkles already. I smile too much. haha.
Anyway, the wedding is getting closer all the time and only 6 weeks of school. I finished my Korean and Japanese, have a blog tomorrow and a big paper this week.
My BoA shipped (BOA IS COMING TO MY HOUSE IN A BOX, YES) (ACTUALLY, THATS NOT FUNNY AT ALL considering what happened on CT); still waiting for Utada ;( Plus they're shipping to my house instead of here. I should have shipped them here. :(

SO. I discovered Yuna Ito, who is a Japanese American (with some Korean mixed in) singer, songwriter, actress, and model. She sounds great and she's really pretty. She's not very popular and its a shame. But here's my rec:


She did a duet with Celine Dion as well (which, coincidentally READ THIS:

I found this funny because... Last Angel. haha. There were a lot of good collabs last year, including Black Diamond by DOUBLE and Namie.

Anyway! Yuna was in the dramas Nana and Nana 2, I think, which I keep meaning to watch. She looks like the mean girl from ISWAK, don't you think? The really pretty one. But I assume that girl is Taiwanese.

I think its a bad idea for KAT TUN to sing things like "Are you ready to rock" (Are you leady to lock) and "I'm runnin" (I'm lunnin). Otherwise, their new single is really great, especially RESCUE. I want to say they're dirty bastards for releasing two singles so close together and ruining THSK's run on the chart for Survivor (KAT TUN sold 60,000+ more copies of their single than THSK did of theirs) but THSK does the same thing with singles and they're runnin (or lunnin) with the big dogs so they're holding up pretty well against KAT TUN.
I like KAT TUN's songs, but they don't sing as well live, they don't dance as well, and why do they need 20 back up dancers? There're already 6 band members. lol.

...I was singing three different songs when I woke up this morning. One of them is definitely the last song I was thinking of before I went to sleep last night, so that makes sense. Otherwise its just a crazy mash up.

I work on fics, of course. XD Senior year in high school, I don't know how I ever knew what was going on in my classes, because I worked on DHS for like...the entire year, and used up two notebooks.

I had a very short dream about Jaejoong last night right before I woke up. He was doing laundry or something (?) and he was wearing a long-sleeve collared shirt with grey slacks and a buttoned grey vest and one of his sleeves was white but the other was pink. ^_^ haha. So he went to get a load of laundry out and I started to walk with him, swinging my arms in a very exaggerated manner like I was almost mocking his serious attitude, and he kind of looked over with a curious/amused face and held up his hand and I gave him a high-five, sort of. Then my alarm went off.

SNSD finally lost the Mnet #1. hehehe.... They fell to #2 to Davichi's "8282," which I love. Those girls can sing. I was going to post my song of the morning today, but it was "CAN'T GET BACK" again. haha. And after my nap it was some SHINee song I don't actually have on iTunes. >_<

Three days until spring break! Gretchen and I are signing for an apartment tomorrow.

And I'm not tired right now because I took a long nap today (and it was sooo great). I can't go to sleep at night --> i'm tired the next day--> i take a nap --> i can't go to sleep at night. :( boo

EDIT: lol WHAT just happened?!!!?? I wrote my first ever suyin drabble and i just got like 35 comments (i was just estimating, but it actually is 34) and people are pimping at Yin's international forum and shit. !!!wtf!!! if i'd known suyin was what makes the het-world turn i would have written it a long time ago!

HAY! BoA's entire album preview is out, and  you need to listen to it. The genre is really consistent and I think its going to be really great. After my criticism of BoA in the past, you should know that I don't cheer for BoA unless she's proved herself and I think she has. I'm really encouraging everyone to buy the album. Lets get that girl some manner of success, huh fangirls? Please? I looked up the releases at Best Buy and its gonna be there on March 17th so thats where I'm gonna go. Don't let her be a flop :( If you ever want to see DBSK in America, this might be your chance to show how successful an SM artist can be here. Buy it~~~~ It will probably be on iTunes if you're too lazy to leave your house. XDDD

p.s.I would buy Super Junior's new album if I could. Well, I'm thinking about it. Sort of. But there's also the DBSK Japanese album I already bought and BoA's and Utada's albums... anyway Suju: The new song sounds great--I'm hoping the album won't actually be full of ballads like the last one was. But the new song is Sorry, Sorry. (lol I think its a direct mash-up of Britney' Womanizer and DBSK's Aren't You A Good Girl? with Suju's voices.) "shorty shorty shorty shorty push up push up push up sumi makyeo makyeo makyeo makyeo naege michyeo michyeo michyeo baby" and of course the sumi makyeo makes me think SHINee and the naege bajyeo's and naege michyeo's make me think MIROTIC. lol. I was singing Insomnia in my dreams last night (is that ironic?), but I woke up with a song in my head, which turned into this song instead. I was thinking of Yunho's part at 1:26 (beautiful! ^ ^ ).

And Super Junior is finally returning. Woo~! I love spring so much. OH also I have an A+ in Korean and I got an 89% and 95% on the written and oral exam for Japanese. :D Now if only English would follow along.

I need to finish the first episode of Hot Shot. And I'm gonna watch some Junsu on my T concert, because I can.
I didn't think this week was gonna be stressful, but I'm obviously gonna have to do something about the math class. I just need the credits for one math class. I don't want to drop it, but not being able to get my math done is affecting me badly or something. I've missed a few assignments in Japanese because I had to stay home one morning and I can't make up a quiz and then I forgot the homework the next day. And in Korean I couldn't find the recording assignment in the lab so I didn't do it today which means it will be late--just like the first one.
I don't like this. I did this in high school because I could get away with stuff like that, but not here. Or I just don't want to be like that. I want to get good grades.

Anyway, today I've been musicking. And I'm sharing.

BoA's English album is supposed to release March 17th. I'm sure you've all heard Eat You Up. Today I finally found the other song that leaked. "I did it for Love ft. Sean Garrett." Its okay. But actually, I found a bunch of her new Japanese stuff and it really rocks.
You HAVE to listen to this one; I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. Translation is in the drop down:

BoA hasn't always been my favorite artist because her personality seems a little cold to me, too reserved or unfriendly or something. But I do think she has a great deal of talent, and she's a great fantastic fabulous dancer and she's really beautiful. Its weird to think about how she grew up; she released her first CD at like 13 or 14, so her life has been anything but normal. I think she could do even greater things with her voice and I hope she does. I'm pretty uncertain about her success on the American market, mostly because of her reservation and the fact that she's not quite fluent in English. But if this is what she wants, then I really hope she's successful. If she doesn't want to be in America though, I hope she can go home. Its nice to hear her sing in Korean and it seems oh -so- rare.
Either way, I think she inspired some ficlets in me. BoA+DBSK pairings here we come. ^_^ I even did screen caps from the Eien PV. haha.

Next is Utada. Her (2nd, right???) English album is scheduled for March 24th in the US (its releasing in Japan first because no doubt it will be more popular there -___-). If you haven't heard it  yet, try to find 'Come Back to Me'. I heard it for the first time about a month ago and I listen to it all the time because I freaking love Utada and her music. (I've listened to it 32 times, haha). I love her stuff. You don't know how epic she is, seriously. I knew she was insanely popular in Japan; she "industrialized the Japanese music industry" and all that, but she holds the highest-selling Japanese album OF ALL TIME. All 4 of her studio albums won album of the year, she has insane digital records, and she actually holds 3 of the top 10 highest selling albums. Utada is great.
Come Back to Me might be on imeem; if you really want it I'll upload it for you, because it rocks and you deserve to hear it.
Here's an easily accessible favorite: Flavor of Life.

Lastly, DBSK's 4th Japanese album is due March 25th. "The Secret Cord." (unless they've made up their mind to keep the typo and name it The Secret Code lolzzzzz). I wish I could be there with them. They move so fast. Anyway...I'm looking forward to it because I love their Japanese stuff. I'm going to watch some T concert hehe ^^
