Musicals Fanfiction - The Purpose
For fans of musicals, finding fanfiction can be a tricky business. There may be archives for one or two particular shows, but beyond that, it can be difficult to find. That is why this community has been created. Fanfiction set within any musical can be posted here, from Avenue Q to Zenda.
The fanfics may be posted directly into the community or linked to an outside source, although it should be noted that all posts will be moderated. Accordingly, there will be some standard rules in place.
Community Rules:
1. Each fic must have this standard layout with the featured musical (and if you wish to, main characters as well) listed in the tags:
Title:
Author:
Rating:
Musical(s):
Disclaimer:
Notes:
2. Every fanfiction must have been checked for spelling and grammar.
3. The ratings must be clearly stated, particularly if there is adult content. Similarly, warnings about content (eg. slash, non-con, BDSM etc) must be included, unless it is part of the canon of that show.
4. No stories based on an idealised original character 'fixing' the show or otherwise becoming the centre of the story.
5. Respect and politeness towards other community members is essential. Treat authors and readers as you would want to be treated yourself.
There is also a list of the tags for those stories already posted.
Note: Both moderators live in Europe, so any delays in posts will likely be because of the time difference.
