Finished reading the Yukikaze novel and SHAT BRICKS until i re-read the ending again and realized there were sequels.

I want to cosplay Yukikaze so badly LOL but since that means either turning into an engineering-no-no of a fighter plane or being a naked fairy, I doubt it'll happen.

I should recruit someone sexy to do it instead, so I can be Lt. Fukai and take a million sunset pictures and be all ASIUFGSDJF "Y U DO DIS/I DON'T KNOW HOW TO QUIT YOU"

Truly, the novel is one of the best Sci-Fi stories in the genre.

Super sexy thanks to ayonoi for setting this up and donating prizes and eve_il for being a helpful bro. Also mirai_noah for the pre-panel spazztimes and letting me read Girls Guide to Gundam which totally gave me more ideas for next year.. hohum~~~

To begin with, i'd worked on this panel for weeks but only on paper >_> I was working on the powerpoint and the game portion afterwards all the way up till 30min RIGHT BEFORE THE PANEL aiyaaa! To make matters worse, we had a record high of technical difficulties!!! Vista, apparently, is not conducive to Ycon. But the room was packed, the audience was great and had a lot of laughs, and I definitely want to do it again with more mechs, more sex, more lolz, and maybe some lesbians (there were a handful of guys in the room, afterall. which i ttly didn't expect?! BUT THEN AGAIN IT'S A GUNDAM PANEL).

What kind of made me laugh was the fact that it was the same guy who ID'd all the underwear screenshots.

Don't have any pics or vid of the game part, but eve_il got some clips of the lecture part XD;

warning: the panel is more jokes and lolz than actual lecture to the franchise.... it's got a gratuitous amount of personal musings and delicious fanart too XD;

and I ttly should molest the RX-78 slide more, next year.

I'm going to at least have fun doing a self-proclaimed UN World Press outfit, and taking coverage photos and vid of the event. But oh, crossing my fingers it won't be a disaster like the last, sadly lackluster crisis cabinet I co-chaired for UCI 2 years ago

I'm passing out UN fact sheets, intro data, and giving away my UN flag to top speaker. That's my outreach act for the year.

All of these were passed through noiseware and none of them ended up the way I first imagined they'd be when shooting.. but in a good way :3

Anyway I want to have insanely silly amount of fun so I signed up for the cosplay contest with Tamama (keroro gunsou) because it's more fitting than anything else I have and I want to try doing a short skit XD; and the Pekopon Ondo is soooo fitting desu ♥ desudesudesu~

In other news, summer classes are over with, I work mornings at a law office and don't get paid a cent (but I get exp levels and free lunch) and have been shooping like crazy after borrowing an effects book from dust_eden and stumbling upon the salvation software that is NOISEWARE. My lightroom levels are still nub though, but yay free ebooks =P and book-off.

I'm having SUCH a disparity on my desktop vs my main work laptop vs other comps (in office, in parents office etc) and it's driving me NUTs. Errors that look small and basically go unnoticed on my main laptop are GLARINGLY OBVIOUS on other screens despite the fact that I've tried to adjust my moniter brightness settings D: it's pissing me off so much, I think I just may need "beta" viewer for my pics.. ;___;

My favs I put for my Setsu entry as well as uploaded some older photos for Soran cos from back at the laguna nigel sakura picnic with eeveil as lil'Lyle. Pretty sure I'm just going to submit Setsu instead of Soran to the contest because the latter costume was all store-bought and modded XD;

Regarding Yun Kouga, I really wish there was a more complete reference for THIS ARTBOOK OUTFIT because I REALLY want to do another texture/color fun cos... and traditional persian/kurdish stuff is just so unf. If not that, then maybe I could do my own color versions for Setsuna's first designs. I'm thinking a lot more green than blue, because lol Jihad-kun... With all the green and drab fabrics I have at my house already.... >_>;
