So, it was brought to my attention thanks, BTW! :D that this layout got a little bit broken... just a little... yup... so... I went in and found a couple of broken images that needed fixing. And I fixed them! Or. More, replaced them. So, the "current music" should have a semi decent image, and you should get a lovely and not at all chosen by personal bias carbon fiber woven pattern in the back of comment boxes instead of a THIS IMAGE HAS BEEN REMOVED type image. 'Cause that makes an ugly backdrop for a text area. And probably hurt some peoples' eyes.

So, this brings up a couple of thoughts which kinda seem to progress thus:

- First and foremost, I'm giving a "current music" thing on this to see how that looks, and, well, there's comment-leaving boxes everywhere around here. So take a look at stuff and let me know if you guys think they'll work, or if I should try harder, or:

- If any of you guys want to replace my carbon fiber pattern or the current music image (the latter, I think, has to be an 8px square), feel free to give it a shot. If you happen to toss me anything that looks better than what I quickly made, I'd happily exchange it. ... I don't really remember what these things used to look like, anymore... and they kinda disappeared so I can't pull them back up.

HERPADERP Mondai is a ridiculous, dense mod and didn't think of the obvious solution, so forget all this, we can fix this for srs.

- Alternatively, if y'all are bored of this layout... I dunno, maybe we could have another contest? I'd have to talk ta' papa my co-mod about that one... And I dunno if we've got the active members anymore ta' get it done proper... But I don' even know if y'all'd be interested. No, I didn't get bored and start talking like Ellis for no reason.

Anywho, final thought:

If y'all see anything in this community, EVER, what needs fixin', give one of us mods a holler. I know I don't see things posted on here as much as I used ta', but if y'all send me a private message over LJ, I always get those. All the time. Whether it's a broken image that's makin' an eyesore or it's spam on tha' page or if there's some actual moderatin' needs ta' get done.

Due to a series of gaming events that have nothing to do with zombies, I found my way back onto Livejournal for the first time since... well, basically since I got my computer in March. which means I found my way back into the community. I've just been passing through real quick trying to get caught up in the tags, so really, all I've seen is some of the recent fanart. But it looks great, you guys. ¦3

Which brings me to my points. First of all, I've got a few busy days ahead of me, but for the most part, I'm positively MADE of free time lately. And even just skimming through the main pages of this community has made me want to write again. So I wonder, would anybody be interested in starting up a new Round Robin in here? Or for that matter, is there anything you'd like to see happen in the comm that I might be able to help get done?

My second point is, you guys really need to learn to tag things. XD A lot of you have been doing great, but there's just enough untagged entries that it'll probably take me a week to trace them all down, and this with my schedule tabula rasa - completely blank slate. I'm gonna see if I can't find a way to simplify this, but as it is, this layout makes tagging just a touch complicated - not an issue for a single post or two, but a significant slow-down if you're trying to go back and tag everything all at once. It really is about ten times simpler when everything's tagged as it's posted. Which wouldn't have been a problem if I was a good mod and hadn't disappeared for ever and ever. But let me make one thing clear: I'd rather you post and not tag than not post at all. But it would make my day if things were posted AND tagged. ;P

So, yeah, now I'm getting overly verbose and chatting like a fool. The shortened (and more metaphorical) version of this would have to be: Momma's back, and she's planning to stay that way. Pick up your toys and she'll try to run the house. ♥
