Let's clean this thing up for DW!

Access/Subscription Policy: This journal is public for the most part save for notes I post specifically for my friends or anything extremely personal. Feel free to friend me if you want as well as comment in any of my entries, but I may or may not reciprocate, especially if I barely know you/don't know you at all.

PLEASE NOTE: If I have you friended, and you one day find yourself de-friended, IT DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING. I friend and de-friend arbitrarily - if I had you friended but found myself just skimming through your entries and not really reading them, I do a friends list pruning and remove the people I haven't really been reading. After a while, I usually add them back. It's NEVER personal.

Who Am I and What Will You Find Here? I'm a very quiet and shy English teacher. Mostly, I read and lurk and RP and sometimes write (writing can be found over here: deceptikitty or NKfloofiepoof). Right now, my journal is mostly filled with griping about my being unable to find a full-time job or my mother's war against cancer. I'm an animal lover and am particularly partial to cats and snakes.

I am extremely shy and extremely under-socialized. As such, I have a hard time coming out of my shell and communicating with/getting to know people no matter how badly I want to and tend to just be quiet and unobtrusive. This tends to make people think I'm cold and/or stuck-up. This couldn't be further from the truth - I just fail at talking to people. If several people have already said what I would have, I usually don't leave a comment because I feel silly just repeating things. I may not comment on everything, but that doesn't mean I don't care.

This is basically just a mirror of my LiveJournal - 99% of entries will be posted both places.
