This community is for people pursuing the urban/suburban homesteading gig -- we live in cities, college towns, or suburbs; we make do with what we have (owning, renting) until we can get onto some land (or not!); because of our proximity to others, we're figuring out how to be as self-sufficient as possible while still embracing the resources and person-power of our communities.
This isn't to exclude people who're on land already, but I'd like to create a place specifically for people who take to heart the principles of homesteading no matter where they live and for their rural friends who're friendly toward that idea.
