Well, the first day back at work...wasn't too bad actually. The day started off well enough, the visit to the physio went well, I've pretty much got the flexibility back and now it's a case of pushing it a little further to help get the strength back - and the gym session tonight certainly helped :)
There was a little bit of a bombshell at work today, one of my closest friends will be leaving at the end of the month ;_; However, when she told me of the job that she'll be doing - copywriting - it got the cogs turning and made me think 'hang on, that sounds like the kind of work I could do' and seeing as how we're slowly phasing out the writing at work, it could be the ideal position to look for for this year, searches on JobSite and such are turning out positions down south so far :)
Something to consider perhaps? May even look to the US for this one too (although thinking about it, maybe not...)
First off, thankee to all who wished the kitty a happy birthday for yesterday - I'm now 26 and one step closer to greymuzzledom ;P *hides from the onslaught*
Went to the gym for the first time since the op, got about 45 minutes in on all machines/stretches/etc and it was really weird to see the muscles sliding where they should be. Looking to go three times a week and then get in some cycling or swimming in at the weekend, so hopefully things'll go well :)
It's charging at the moment, but apparently it's come with a memory card full of QOS themes and such to co-incide with the release - at the moment my screensaver is a briefcase which is going through an airport x-ray machine :3
And finally, courtesy of bigkittywolf - that silly meme that's been doing the rounds on LJ >:3
If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often or ever) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me.
It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.
When you're finished, post this little paragraph in your LJ and see what your friends come up with.
