temporal pleasures....

Okay, missed my gig to travel for eclipse. Responsibilities, age, finances, all combined to fornicate any possibility and then.... and then Lord love a duck, I got over my "bad" self.

I throw myself out the backdoor, slammed on my tennis shoes, grabbed my trusty yard colander, pulled on my garage sale find, the perfect sized welder's mask, situated myself, realized I HAD to have my CAMERA/phone/device, in and out of house, yelling movemovemove to alert critters, considered window departure, but... argued with device about selfie/pics toggle, dealing with critters who were clearly disturbed, holding colander, using device, adjusting welder's mask and got eclipsed at a location south of total.

Amazing!!! I found out there is a nation of eclipse weepers whose hearts filled to overflowing and this forces excess water out of your eyes.

Please God, let me live every single day I am generously, freely given to the very best of my ability, which is considerable cos I didn't get made trash. Keep my goofy mouth shut if I think I need to whine, complain, or blame. Let me embrace life cos the not so fun is surely eclipsed by the really truly glorious mostly.

Yeah, old hippies...viewing solar eclipse 2017, garnering awareness, making sense outta a jumbled bunch of random life, bringing them to heart.

Ah, Happy New Year.

Know that saying Sometimes you eat the dragon. Sometimes the dragon eats you...

Yeah, been that kinda month. I haven't got it in me to do anything but laugh though cos it's a blessing of foolishness...That translates as broken back window lock on car, door handle just flat fell off, has been on "vacation" since before Thanksgiving, bathroom sink quit or sprays from the side, bitty-new kits ate my eight pack of paper towels and children what a mess that was! phone quit working Christmas night, spent 3 hours in Sprint store and that was a trial, lost all my Christmas cards for family with cash prizes and gift cards, got a ticket for speeding less than a block from my house cos I was singing Christmas carols with radio and not watching speedometer, and believe it or not, I'm as happy as a hawg in slops. I'm happy cos I'm alive and I have a half brain. I can try again tomorrow or later and you exist!

Celebrate be safe and know for fact, you are loved by a little woman in way sTX, busily sending her heart thoughts for you to the universe.

I am officially knee deep in caribou poo and surrounded by fire-breathing giraffes and paper shreding bitty kitties and ain't life something?
