Name: Aaralyn I prefer to be called Arie.
Age: 15 I am aware of the age restrictions, but I'm turning 16 in approximately 2 weeks.
ED Type/History: I am currently diagnosed as a restricting type anorexic. I fell into ana when I was about 11 years old when a few of the popular girls started a weight loss competition. I, of course, was far from popular and the prize for the most weight lost was a spot in the crew. Now I see the only "prize" I got was anorexia.
Height: 5'2"
Current Weight: 103
Current BMI: 18.8
Highest Weight: 112
Lowest Weight: 103
Goal Weight(s): 100,95,90,80,70,etc until I get to 0
Tell us a little bit about yourself... interests, hobbies, whatev: I'm generally a boring person. I can't make people laugh if my life depended on it. I take ballet and gymnastics classes and that's basically it, like I said I'm a boring person. I tend to open up more to people who know me well so just stick around and I'll get used to you :)
Favorite Thinspiration: thinspoangel's channel on youtube. Sorry if this is considered advertising, I'm not trying to promote anyone. Just sharing a favorite thinspo.

P.S. Sorry if I refer to anorexia as "ana" and thinspiration as "thinspo" it'll take a little while to get used to using the full term.

I found a healthy, non-icky place to eat on campus! It's called "Agora", and has sushi, seaweed salad (which I ate for brunch), fruit, salads, whole-wheat bagels and breads, etc. I need to be careful not to eat too much, but honestly, 3/4 of a seaweed salad and 1/3 of a Granny Smith apple are enough to keep me going all day. I also picked up a small 110-calorie granola bar in case I get hungry tonight or something. I need to eat a little bit more, like 500-700 calories a day, only because my classes are pretty high-level and I need to have energy to think straight. My short-term memory really sucks when I'm underfed. Also, all I ate yesterday was a Tall Mocha Lite Frappucino (around 200 calories, I think, since I didn't consume the whipped cream), and I had eaten around 300 calories a day for the last few days. I went to bed so hungry that I couldn't get to sleep until around 2 AM. That used to happen sometimes over the summer when I exercised intensely every day. Here, I'm pretty much on my feel walking for 75% of the day, so I'm moderately active and probably require more calories than at home when I was being all sedentary and stuff.

Hello beauties, I'm doing wonderfully on my water fast. It's only been 15 hours and I've already lost 4.6 lbs :D This is really working out well. Down to 103.4, one more pound and I can be considered underweight. Oh God this feels amazing, why do I feel so good about this? I have no fcking clue.

105 hours left.

Gah! Note to self: NO MORE NON-LIGHT FRAPPUCINOS!

( cut for frozen pseudo-coffee-type-substancesCollapse )

I made myself some new food rules, which I think are reasonable.
- Acceptable meals include caesar salad (no dressing), sushi, seaweed salad, or calamari salad from The Agora (the cafeteria-type place on campus that doesn't suck and has Japanese and Mediterranean food, and is generally healthy).
- Acceptable drinks include Perrier, San Pellegrino, Diet Soda (limited to two servings per day, i.e. one bottle of Diet Coke or whatever), sugar-free energy drinks, flavoured water, and water.
- Acceptable snack foods include granola bars, fruit, raw vegetables such as peppers or celery, and SlimFast.
- No eating after 6 PM (a rule I broke with my evil Java Chip Frappuccino of Doom >.<), except acceptable beverages.
- No fast food. Ever. Not even salads.
- No restaurant food from American family dining casual chain restaurants (e.g. Applebee's, Chili's, etc.) without first looking up calories and choosing a suitable entre. It should be kept in mind, however, that meals are served on platters big enough to hold a roast goose and I usually finish barely half of what I ordered.
- I will not eat on weekends when I am home. Period.
- I am allowed two Tall Lite Mocha Frappuccinos per week.
- For candy cravings and such, I will consume fruit-flavoured Tic-Tacs or Icebreakers. For chocolate cravings (which are rare for me), chocolate-drizzled Special K bars are to be used.
