Sam's poem at Cirith Ungol: <3 <3 <3 =)

In western lands beneath the Sun
the flowers may rise in Spring,
the trees may bud, the waters run,
the merry finches sing.
Or there maybe 'tis cloudless night
and swaying beeches bear
the Elven-stars as jewels white amide their branching hair.

Though here at journey's end I lie
in darkness buried deep,
beyond all towers strong and high,
beyond all mountains steep,
above all shadows rides the Sun
and Stars forever dwell:
I will not say the Day is done,
nor bid the Stars farewell.

Love that last stanza!~ omg so love!

Mythgard orientation was good-- can't wait for Shippey to lecture on Monday! :)

Gacked from gayalondiel:

You Are a Chocolate Cake

Fun, comforting, and friendly. You are a true classic, and while you're not super cutting edge, you're high quality. People love your company - and have even been known to get addicted to you.

Happy birthday to dear auntiemeesh (3/6)! to clever_hobbit (yesterday) and to estelanui (today) !!!!!!!!

Gacked from everyone. :D

Get your own Twelve Days:

taken from slightlytookish, rabidsamfan, dreamflower02 and others... :P

Rec me one story you've written (preferably fan fiction, but if you've not written any fanfic, then you can rec an original piece instead) that you're proud of, any genre, here on my LJ.

Then go forth and ask the same in yours.

Preferably hobbit gen fic--and since it's Sam's b-day, Sam fic would be lovely. :)
But anything is fine... ♥

Talking about fic...i *really* need to start my Frodo fic that is due the end of the month...
anyone want to give me a Frodo h/c bunny?
has to be fluffy...since that was the request ;)

And ...AND...

Narnia came out on DVD!!! I SO need to get it.
Yes, i'm officially collecting Narnia iconses now. :P (::ultra in love with Lucy and Tumnus:: ;)
