Welcome, Perry fans! Come aboard, casual and diehard fans, gen/friendship and Perry/Della and other romance fans alike! Share your fanworks. Discuss one of the most fondly remembered classic television series of all time. Talk about the characters and their relationships with each other.
There's really only a couple of real rules:
#1 - Watch the language! Although I imagine there won't be too much trouble in that direction from most Perry fans. ;)
#2 - It's fine to not like certain characters. Of course no two people will have the exact same opinions on any of them. And speculating on a character's actions or why he or she was written a certain way is encouraged. But no "bash" posts, please (i.e., none of "Ohmygosh, I hate this character/this character is so stupid/etc.). If you dislike a character, provide reasons. But don't start a post just to say how much you hate them.
#3 - All types of fanworks and graphics are encouraged, within reason. The "no bashing" rule extends to fanworks, as well. And I'd rather not see anything terribly graphic, in any direction. But if you really want to share something that is such, it might be advisable to lock it to the community.
And this isn't a rule, but a suggestion. While I imagine we'll be getting many Perry/Della works, and that's fine, I'd love to see more gen/friendship stories and such. There's so many fascinating relationships to explore, from Perry and Hamilton's friendship to Lieutenant Tragg and Andy, and even Perry and Della's interaction as a friendship, rather than a romance. :) If we get enough writers in here, or fans wanting to write, I may consider posting occasional writing prompts to get the creative juices going.
