There's to be a fashion show at governor's school (and given the sheer number of art students who dress cool anyhow it should be unbelievable) and hopefully I be submitting an outfit or two. I've got two potential models (a korean fellow architect Sarah and Erin) or I may make an outfit for myself. But I think it might be more fun to dress up Sarah since she said I could call her Caroline.

i just had a revelation today, and it may be old news to most of you.
if you buy fabric or patterns or ribbon or whatever to make clothing, it's not taxable!!
how i never knew this before astounds me as i sew lots of clothing and i have no money, but i thought i should share this lovely revelation to the rest of those who didn't know.

Hello~

March for Women's Lives ~~ DC ~~ 4/25/04

For the march, I will be knitting millions of purple and gold (lemon yellow) wrist bands. These are the colors of the march and also the colors that were on the flags in the 'Iron Jawed Angels' HBO original movie on Alice Paul. People all over the country joining me for this project, some crocheting and some weaving.

How cool will it be to see a crowd of women and men raising their fists clad with a purple and gold feminist wrist bands? -YEAH!!

If you want to join me in my efforts, you can follow the pattern in the Stitch 'n Bitch book, just change the colors. or you can email me (airingoutthevulva at hotmail dot com). OR LOOK at my journal. I can certainly use crafting help to make a million.

If you can't knit or crochet, consider tieing ribbons around your wrists. (lemon yellow and purple)

To get the bands to the march, you can either bring them with you, send them with a friend or email me about shipping.

I'm using CHEAP yarn for this project.

It is a great way to contribute to the cause if you cannot attend the March.

as of now, there will be no dinner meeting this sunday. this is due to the fact that the french students are arriving that day, and we do not want to hold up anyone's schedule. also i have an french persom arriving, myself. soooo, if you have questions comments blah blah blah... yoi know what to do and where to do it.
