A place for collectors to show off, discuss and share tips about how they display their collections
G.I. Joes, dolls, Ninja Turtles, model trains, My Little Pony. Everyone has a favorite, and some people love their toys so much they branch into collecting. It seems like everyone has a different niche they fit into. But what do most collectors have in common?
The desire to share their interests with others!
Play ‘n Display is a community that puts typically peripheral parts of collecting into the spotlight: Diorama building, photography set-ups, organization, all that stuff that takes fun and imagination, but isn’t necessarily limited to your own favorite specialty.
Play ‘n Display is created to bring a variety of collectors into one place, to share our accomplishments and swap tips and tricks of the trade. So sit back, enjoy, and please, if you have a hobby or special collection, feel free to join! Any member can post to the board, but I ask that everyone follow a simple set of rules.
Rules:
1. PG-13, please. No excessive profanity or explicit materials.
2. You're entitled to your opinion, other people are entitled not to like it. I'm not going to ask that everyone always be nice and never disagree, but try and keep debate civil and impersonal. If you have criticism over someone's set up, for example, keep it objective and constructive. The golden rule applies. Flaming, trolling, and irrational behavior not allowed.
3. Hide long text and pics behind cuts, please, so we can be nice to peoples' friends pages.
