Description:

A drabble community for the British TV show Primeval

.About

This is a 100 word drabble community for the British tv show Primeval.

.What is Primeval?

A science fiction show which first aired in the UK in February-March 2007 it follows the adventures of Professor Nick Cutter and his team as they investigate a series of anomalies which are allowing creatures from the past and the future to enter the present.

An episode guide can be found here.

Despite having been cancelled once, Primeval came back for a fourth and fifth series. Definitive word on a sixth series has not yet been released, but it doesn't look like it will be returning.

.Rules

1. All drabbles must be 100 words. Why? Because as this informative essay, as well this e-zine and even wikipedia demonstrates, a drabble is a novel in 100 words. No more. No less.

2. Post ONLY for the CURRENT challenge. A new challenge will be posted every Tuesday by

cordeliadelayne or

deinonychus_1 on alternate weeks, generally at midnight (UK time).

3. Slash, het, gen and femmeslash are all welcome.

4. All ratings are allowed, but anything R and NC-17 (or equivalent rating system) must be put under an LJ cut. So does anything potentially squicky or that relates to character death. Don't know how to do a cut? Check the FAQ's here.

5. Post as many drabbles as you wish, but in multiple entries any drabble after the first one should be put under an LJ cut.

6. All drabbles should have the following heading, or similar:
Title:
Word Count: (100)
Rating:
Challenge:
Characters/Pairing:
Warnings:
Spoilers: (Optional)
Authors Notes: (Optional)

7. Please tag your posts. *We've made as many tags as we can think of. You can see what tags are available with LJ's handy "select tags" feature when you compose your post. We'll add your username to the tag list after you've posted for the first time and create more tags as they become necessary - it never hurts to wave in our direction if you think we've missed a new pairing tag that needs creating.

8. No Flaming.

9. You don't have to post every week to be a member. But you do have to be a member to post. Due to an influx of spambot posts membership is now moderated, but we're very quick to approve people.

10. Absolutely no advertising of any kind. If you really have something of interest, PM

cordeliadelayne first.

11. No RPF. That's real person fiction. Let's stick to the characters, not the actors.

12. No off-topic posts.

13. Drabbles for the Canadian spin-off Primeval: New World are allowed. Please clearly mark your drabble as being set in New World. We'll create the necessary character tags as we go along but please tag your drabbles as "drabble: new world".

14. Spoiler Policy. None needed.
