WELCOME TO PANDEMONIUM RP.
General Information:
-This is a high school age RP. (Read: Davey Havok is 31 in real life, but in this RP, he's 19 and just out of high school.) Our general age range is 14-21.
-This is a slash RP.
-Sorry, no female characters. Males only.
-We prefer to have quality writers over the quantity of members. Please keep in mind we want mature, descriptive writers who aren't going to come and go.
Choosing a Character:
-Before you submit an application, please check the list of taken characters. If the character you wanted to play is already taken, take a look at our list of wanted characters.
-Please know something about your character. It would be silly not to, right?
Journals:
-Before applying, please have a journal already set up for your character. It doesn't have to have your character's name in it, just make it recognizable as your character's. This can be done with an icon.
-Within four days of being accepted, please have at least one entry other than a FRIENDS ONLY notice. Failure to do so may result in deletion.
-Make sure you add everyone to your friends list. A quick way to do that can be found in the Tools and Gaming Information section.
-Should you choose to link to a website in your user info, we ask that you link back to  pandemonium_rp.
-Make sure you add this community, pandemonium_rp, and pandemonium_ooc to your friends list. You don't have to add the OOC community, but the main RP is mandatory.
-We would like you to update your journals at least once every two weeks. After one week of no updates, you will recieve a 'nudge' via email. After two weeks, you will receive another nudge, and a warning in the main community and/or a reminder through AIM. If, after the warnings, you still haven't updated, you run the risk of being removed from the community. We understand that sometimes things come up in real life, and you aren't always able to update (Read: grounding, vacation, no internet, etc.), but if something does happen, please try to let us know so we don't accidentaly delete you.
-Please don't make us continually remind you to update your journal. Be active. It's not that hard. A sentence or two will suffice.
*NO PLUS ACCOUNTS, PLEASE. IF YOU MAKE A NEW JOURNAL YOU NEED TO GO HERE AND DOWNGRADE TO A BASIC JOURNAL. THEN YOU NEED TO GO HERE AND UNCHECK EVERYTHING HAVING TO DO WITH THE NAVIGATION STRIP.*
AIM:
-Have an AIM account set up for your character. We use this feature to communicate with other RPers more frequently than journals. We do allow other messangers to be used, but most people will only use them in emergencies. If you need to download AIM, or one of its clones, check out the Tools and Gaming Information entry.
-Make sure you add everyone. The complete list can be found in the Tools and Gaming Information entry.
General Rules:
ALL STORYLINE ideas are welcome, just make sure you research your topic and play it out fully and realistically. Bring your character to life. Drama can be fun, just make sure you know what you're doing.
CHARACTER LIMIT: You may have no more than three characters. If you choose to have more than one, make sure you can be ACTIVE and keep up on each storyline. If you slack off, we reserve the right to remove inactive members at any time, with or without warning.
NETSPEAK: Keep it to a minimum. In casual chats, it's fine in moderation, but we don't want to be reading eight million LOLs. KTHX.
OUT OF CHARACTER: Use pandemonium_ooc or pandemonium_rp for all out of character posts/issues/needs. It's fun to know your other writers Out Of Character, but not all writers are comfortable with that idea. If you want to talk OOC in an IM, make sure you use some form of brackets (Read: (), {}, [], etc.). Some players don't want to talk out of character, and we expect you to respect that.
OOC/IC CROSSOVER: If you are creating a problem mixing your Out Of Character (OOC) issues with your In Character (IC) issues, the mods reserve the right to remove you at any time, with or without previous warning. Just don't do it.
MARRIAGES/ENGAGEMENTS: You must be in a relationship for at least a month before becoming engaged. I know it's game, but really. Who gets engaged after a week. If you want to become engaged before then, you must consult a mod:  soexquisite, bulletoheart_, or squirrel_ninja.
RAPE: This roleplay does not allow rape. Don't do it.
SUICIDE: No suicide. Attempts are fine, but you can't really kill them off. If the person you're basing your character on actually dies, that's another story. If you want to quit the RP, please just let one of the mods know, and delete your journal (See: Quitting the Game).
Banning Members:
We reserve the right to remove members of the game who are A.) inactive on AIM B.) inactive with their journals C.) causing unneeded drama that hurts the entire group D.) sabotaging other writer's storylines for their own personal enjoyment/benefit E.) blurring the lines between OOC and IC or F.) just not working out here.
Quitting the Game:
If at any time you wish to remove yourself from the community, come tell us on AIM, leave a post in your journal, or in pandemonium_rp, and delete your journal.
If someone is abusing your character or the rules, please contact a mod immediatly. Make sure you have something to back it up: AIM conversations, journal entries or comment threads.

To prove that you have fully read our rules, please add "My favorite song ever: *insert your answer here*" onto the end of your application.

After you have everything set up and read all the rules, make a comment to this post including
ATTENTION: If you see something you don't like or that needs improvement, feel free to talk to one of the mods about the situation and it will be taken into consideration and discussed.
