I wanted to remind you all that the first single off 21st Century Breakdown was released this morning. It's called Know Your Enemy. I'm posting a widget at the bottom of this with a clip of the song in it. So listen to it and go to itunes to buy it if you like what you hear.

Then go here http://thestreetnetwork.sparkart.com/greenday/index.php?noredirect=1 to sign up and get started! Upon sign up, in the box where it says 'who were you referred by', please put the username 'dead_beat'. What are you waiting for? It's completely free! You get news about the band, the album, and you get to connect with other fans all around the world. Remember. Just put dead_beat in the referred by box. ;)

I don't know about you guys, but the reason I love the older punk music is because when I listen to it; I put it on full blast in my headphones, sit in my room with the lights off, close my eyes and no matter how loud it is, or how hard they yell, it makes me feel better. I don't know, I get pissed off really easily, so when I listen to punk I feel like it's the one thing that won't lie to me.

Hah, punks not dead; but it sure looks like this community is. In case anyone still reads this: What's your favorite band? Old school or new, doesn't matter. Either way, I love Dead Kennedys. ♥

hello :)
I have two short animated flash films available to watch on line, listed under 'Richard Beeminster - Flash MX'
http://www.fluffylikerazors.co.uk/
It's basically a surreal and humorous detective series :D The music on the soundtracks is alt / punk / industrial. I hope people enjoy watching them.
Cheers

In Gardners class we had to write a poem about ourselves.
Please read and write commentary on it...
And also say what you think it means...

So Here's the deal....I'm in a band called Playground Heroes from Kissimmee, FL. My band is in the process of booking a 7 week full US tour to promote our new album. We've toured successfully many times but it's been about 2 and 1/2 years since we've been on the road and as a result most of the resources and contacts we had have disappeared/closed down. We've been emailing places and contacting places through book your own fucking life, gigswap and myspace...but we need help. So if you're in a band or you're a promoter, booker, whatever and you would or could hook us up with a show between june 10th and july 29th email me or reply on here or aim: satansonion127 with what town/state you're in and I'll get ahold of you with what date we need. The only places in Florida we need are Tallahassee, Pensacola, or Jacksonville. We'll gladly do gig trades with bands or whatever. Thanks in advance and hope to hear from you soon. -Billy, Playground Heroes http://www.playgroundheroes.com
