after Austin, we headed to Lubbock, Texas. we mostly chose it because it was a good halfway point between Austin and Sante Fe - we weren’t expecting much for our one night there. we were super pleased to stumble across a cute park ? , gorgeous lake ? , and beautiful sunset ?.

I'm getting really tired of all the rain ?️
It's been raining here for a few days except yesterday. It was sunny and it dried up the backyard so I got to go back there this morning before the rain came back.
We got lucky and the storm came just minutes after our morning walk ?.
