Yeah so I really love that scene from episode 203. In fact, I love it so much I made 5 icons from caps from it last night. :-)

I recently got my mother into Queer As Folk. I showed her a picture of Gale Harold a few months ago and she thought he was hot, and when I broke down and bought the QAF DVDs, I convinced her to watch it with me. She was a bit squeamish about the whole gay sex thing at first, because she had never seen anything like that before. But by the time we got done with season one she was totally hooked on the show. She became a total Brian/Justin whore, just like me. ;-) When we finished season one she said, "it did my heart good to see Brian break that little fucker's legs" (referring to Chris Hobbs of course; it sure sounded like his legs were broken after Brian hit him with the bat) and when we finished season two she said, "So does Justin ever lose the banjo player and go back to Brian?" (the banjo player being her nickname for the hated Ethan; I love my mom, she's so funny).

Anyways, we just finished season three and she was ecstatic that Brian and Justin eventually reunited. She thought that episode 301 was just about the saddest thing she'd ever seen. She made some comment to the effect that Brian was "the great pretender" like in the old Roy Orbison song, and it inspired me to make this wallpaper.
