Welcome to RealxFolkxBlues, a Cowboy Bebop icontest community. If you enjoy making and/or voting on CB graphics, you can, and should ;), join this community.

Every week, a certain theme will be given. Then community members will submit icons related to the given theme, and then the icons will be voted on. Winners will be announced once the voting ends, and receive banners.

Rules

[1] Only community members can sumbit icons and vote.
[2] All icons must in some way be related to Cowboy Bebop.
[3] Icons must be usable on LJ (100 x 100, 40kb or under).
[4] You may enter up to TWO icons per challenge unless otherwise stated.
[5] Showing your icon or telling people to vote for it before the current contest is over will result in disqualification. :(
[6] Stealing icons that aren't by you and entering them into a contest will result in being banned from the community.
[7] Icons should be made **fresh** for the contest, i.e. not made any earlier than a week before or as old as the challenge post.
[8] You can vote for yourself, but please only do so if you truly think it's the best one.
[9] Do not use fanart unless it is your own. Thank you. :)
[10] You absolutely MUST host your icon at an appropriate server, such as Photobucket, Imageshack, your own domain, whatever. Using LJ or another journal user picture space is NOT acceptable.

Contests..

Submitting an icon.
When you submit an icon, please use the code <*img src*=*"url here"*> (without the stars of course) along with the URL of the icon below it. It should look like this:

Submission Times.
Icon submissions will be accepted from Sunday to Sunday. A post with the week's new challenge should be posted Saturday night, but icons will not be taken until 12:00 AM on Sunday morning/Saturday night. (Using Eastern Standard Time.)


Voting.
After the submission deadline the second Sunday a challenge has been posted at midnight, a voting entry will be posted sometime Monday. Voting will continue until Wednesday night at 11:59 PM (EST). In the voting entry, icons will be numbered, so when you vote you'll just need to comment with the numbers of the icons you wish to vote for. As for the places (1st, 2nd, etc.), depending on how many icons submitting you will be told how many icons to vote for. All comments will be screened so only the mod and yourself can see your comment.
