Hey everyone, how you doing? Well, I hope. I have really been struggling with my piece for this. Think I might stick to fanmixes, since I never seem to be stuck there. Music makes me feel good, writing confuses and angers me ;)

So. Here's a very informal author check in. No rules, no regulations. Just drop a line and let us know how it's going, if you've started, if you've finished, share a word count or a short snippet, if the mood strikes.

Still plenty of time before rough drafts are due, I have faith in everyone <3

Hey everyone, mid-way art check in time!

I would really appreciate all artists just checking in here at this post (or via email) and let me know the following:

Have you been in touch with your author?
Do you have a copy of the fic in question?
Are you confident in your ability to finish on time?

That's really all I need to know :D Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you out.

INCIDENTALLY. There are still a few unclaimed fics. I bet you're secretly interested. Check out the relevant summaries here! :)

Hello, welcome to our second writer's check in! We're nearing the end of our writing period, and very soon it will be artist claims day.

But don't panic! Very close doesn't mean "right now." You still have time! Rough drafts (that are at least 8k) are due 10th August. I'll post another post outlining what and how and when a little closer to that date.

Keep going if you're not there yet, I know you can do it :D

Hello hello everyone! I hope you're all not like me and have actually started! Totally don't stress if you haven't (after all, you are certainly not alone). Here's our first check in. It's not mandatory, so don't feel pressured if you are behind others who are checking it. Feel free to share or not, and make merry with your fellow robot enthusiasts.

Hey, welcome to the artist check in!

This is a fairly simple process, and I want to note, THIS IS MANDATORY for artists. If I do not recieve word from you within a week (by Saturday, 8th September), I will begin looking for a pinch hitter artist.

Just copy/paste the following form, fill out your details, and send in an email (or a PM to me) to the mod account robobangmod@gmail.com. Artists working on multiple pieces, you can go ahead and do them all in one email. :)

Username: Author you're working with: Have you recieved a draft from your author?: Have you started your project?: How are you feeling about your project?: Are there any issues, either in your communications with the author, the mod, or in the project itself that you're concerned about?: Are you confident that you will be completed by the submission date of 21st September?: Additional comments?:

We still have one pretty, lonely summary looking for an artist, if anyone is curious. It's a gen Transformers Bayverse/Matrix fusion/crossover set in the future! Come on, that sounds awesome. Read the summary here and if you dig it, you can claim it here.

As always, general questions, concerns, and comments can be left here, PM'd or emailed to the mod email account listed above.

Thanks everyone, happy roboting!

Hey all!

To make up for check in #1 being a bit late, this one is a bit early! I have a job interview tomorrow, so I wanted to make sure I got this posted before I forgot :D

We're getting closer to draft submission day and, of course, art&collaboration claims, which makes me super duper excited! There's still time to get your drafts finished, writers, so don't fret. There will be a post right around the beginning of August letting you know all the details about how to submit and how claims will work, &c.

For your second check in, just fill out the form below in comments and let us see how you're doing.

If you need to drop out (sad, but it happens), you can let me know here or via PM, or just don't turn in a draft. We're pretty easy going here at Robot Big Bang. Feel free to continue urging friends and family into signing up, too! The more the merrier!

I thought tomorrow was today! Well hello, a little late, but still in the ball park.

Today is our first writer check-in, so fill out the form below and let us know where you're at! It's okay if you don't have much (or anything), because we still have plenty of time before drafts are due on 9th August.
