Motorcyclist dies after Santa Ana crash

SANTA ANA - A Huntington Beach motorcyclist was killed early this morning after hitting a dark-colored Hyundai that was blocking the car-pool lane on the southbound Costa Mesa (55) Freeway, the California Highway Patrol said.
Ryan Cook, 23, was riding a black Honda CB570 at 12:25 a.m. in the car-pool lane just north of MacArthur Boulevard and hit the Hyundai, possibly a sport-utility vehicle.
Cook was thrown from his motorcycle, then was struck multiple times by oncoming cars, said California Highway Patrol officer Denise Quesada. Cook died at the scene.
The driver of the Hyundai fled the scene on the southbound 55, Quesada said.
Santa Ana CHP is investigating the accident.
Authorities are looking for the dark-colored Hyundai with rear or side damage. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call (714) 567-6000.

So if you happen to run across a dark colored Hyundai with body damage, make that call...even if you think its silly, it's still worth a shot.

Hey gals! I was cleaning out my closets and found all this cool stuff that'll never fit me and decided I'd give this ebay thing a shot (very new to it, hehe), and also that at least some of the people in this community would like some of this stuff. So I apologise if this is wantonly off-topic but I felt like I had to share, especially the shoes. They're one of the most awesome things I've ever owned and it makes me so bummed that they'll never fit- the most I can hope is that they'll find a good home! So here you have it...

i went to see mustard plug last friday. it was AWESOME. maybe one of the best bands i`ve seen play that actually plays gOOd.

my friend is trying to make a ska band. and yyesterday he aksed me if i could play any instruments and i replied "not really. just the ukulele, but i can skank like a motherfucker!" so, once he gets all his band members and shit worked out, i'm gonna be the dancer for his ska band!!! ain't that rockin'?! and i also get ot draw the album covers and make band buttons. i'm the dancer/merch whore! although, i wish i was like gwar's dancer, she can spit fire and she does it onstage. but anyway, it'll be totally awesome! i'll tell you guys more about it once it get's going.
