My thoughts and prayers with Michigan State.  I heard.  The assailant is in custody.  Surprisingly he's of color.

I dunno why there's still mass shooters.  Emme has done a lot of work to make sure senseless acts of violence no longer occur.  Or at least at a bare minimum.

Turns out that my birthday is today. 9/6/1972 at 2:02 PM in Bais, Central Visayas, Negros Oriental, Philippines.  By these calculations I am actually a Virgo Sun, Leo Moon, and Capricorn Ascendant.  I will post the calculations in a separate post.

The last time I posted in that Tumblr was over 7 years ago.  I don't even recall posting in it.

Doris, if things are permanently over between you and Cesar, I just wanted to let you know that for me, Ruthie, my door is always open to you.
I will never forget what you did for me and my family ever.  You were there when my father almost dies.  You stood by my side all this time, helping me and my family in untold ways.  Your friendship is gold and I can never repay you enough for all that you've done for me and my father and my family.

You are beautiful and a professional teacher.  You shouldn't be in tears because of Cesar.  You deserve far better than he was unable to give you.

I wish you well and I hope you find a man worthy of all the beauty and goodness you deserve.

I think for Cesar he was just looking for friendship.  He's a recent widow.  I don't think he was looking for anything more serious than that.

I hope that with time both you and Cesar will be able to heal.

As for me, you are a friend for life.

I owe you a debt of gratitude.  You've helped me in ways that the good Lord, Almighty, knows about.

Yesterday was Kris' Birthday.  We went to Mizumi's with Doris and her sister, Gloria.  We had all the sushi we could eat as well as oishi hot pots.  Yum!  And we celebrated with Ube cake from Red Ribbons.  We still have some left over.

I slept for about 20 hours.  OMG.  I must have been exhausted from the past few days.

I have to get in contact with my Nurse Practitioner.  My insurance won't cover Latuda anymore.  Maybe she'll give me more Olazapine.

Good news.  My Tito Tito is recovering.  Woot!  Thank you, Jesus.

I'm grateful that my Uncle Tito is surrounded by family members who are in the medical/health professions.  His grandniece is a Medical Doctor.  His niece has her doctorate in nursing.  A number of his grandnieces and grandnephews are nurses there.  And the lucky bonus is my cousin CheChe, who is a nurse... her sister-in-law, Brenda, is a cardiologist.

I'm grateful that my Uncle Tito is receiving the best medical care possible there.

Thank you, Jesus.  He's in my prayers.

I was having a good day spiritually and in the last 15 minutes my mood changed suddenly because my father just told me my favorite Uncle, Tito, is in the ICU because of his heart.

He's been in ICU for the past 2 days.  He's in his mid 80s.  They say he's responsive, but they are monitoring him.

My father almost bought a plane ticket for three days from now.  But he's waiting for the first week of September after a medical appointment.

I'm in shock by this sudden revelation about my favorite Uncle.

I will keep him in my prayers.

I love you Uncle Tito.  My love and prayers with his wife Lerma, his son Tata and his daughters Grace and Bebing.  As well as Tito's grandchildren.

I'm shocked.  It's so sudden.

Ingredients

• For the Red Grout:
• 2 1/2 cups guava nectar
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1/4 cup tapioca (quick cooking)
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• For the Vanilla Cream:
• 1/2 cup whole milk
• 1/2 cup whipping cream
• 1 vanilla bean
• 3 large egg yolks
• 3 tablespoons sugar

Steps to Make It

Prepare the Red Grout:

1. In a medium sauce pan, bring guava nectar and sugar to a boil.  
   
2. Stir in salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
   
3. In a small container, combine the quick cooking tapioca with the water.  
   
4. Slowly add the tapioca mixture into the sauce pan and stir to combine.  
   
5. Bring to a boil once more, stirring constantly.  
   
6. Remove from the heat when the tapioca grains are clear. This should take about 13 minutes.  
   
7. Stir in vanilla extract. Cool completely.
   

Prepare the Vanilla Cream:

1. While the red grout is cooling, prepare the vanilla cream.  
   
2. In a medium saucepan, combine milk and cream.  
   
3. Split the vanilla bean and scrape out the seeds into the milk mixture.  
   
4. Toss the split vanilla bean into the milk as well.  
   
5. Bring the milk mixture to a simmer and then remove from the heat.
   
6. Remove vanilla bean pods.
   
7. In a medium bowl, whisk egg yolks and sugar to combine.
   
8. Gradually whisk the hot milk mixture into the yolk mixture.
   
9. Return the custard to the sauce pan and stir over low heat until the custard thickens. (Do not boil) This will take about 5 minutes.

It's just Hollywood publicity.  Marketing ad campaign targeting his fans, like emmereeves .  She's a huge fan of that actor.
