Every year, Portrait runs its Top 30 Under 30 feature where visitors to the site get to vote for their top 30 celebrities under the age of 30 for the year. This year, the voting is being done a little differently, and the nominees are being broken up into categories, with the top 30 from each of the categories running in a final vote at the end of October.

The first round of voting has launched for TV/Movie casts and Bands. The iCarly cast is one of the nominees. The cast includes Miranda, Nathan, Jennette, and Noah according to the rules. You can vote as many times as you want until September 26. (Spread the word!) Then be sure to come back to the site October 26 to vote in the final round.

There are links to the complete schedule and the rules at the top of the homepage as well.

Since the episode has already aired for me, I don't know if this should be referred to as a discussion post, but I thought it would be nice to have a place for people to chime in with what they liked/didn't like about the episode as everyone digests it over the next few days. And I know this isn't the most active of communities, but you are all out there somewhere, so, feel free to leave a comment (or 12).

Also, if you need to watch it again (and again, and again) and don't have an issue with low quality vids, I did happen to find it posted to youtube: Part 1, Part 2. It's the only one I've found so far.

Also (I use that word way too often), Dan Schneider posted his fun facts for the episode here.

( Warning: here be spoilers. Thoughts...Collapse )

Just in case you guys want to know what the show is up for / who they are up against. I'm surprised that they're up for hair and makeup awards against some of these other shows. It makes me wonder which episodes they submitted for that, especially since it's non-prosthetic makeup.

Edit: Just in case anyone was wondering about episode submission as much as I was, I found them. For Outstanding Children's Program, 'iGet A Hot Room' was submitted. The Hair and Makeup submissions were both 'iStart A Fan War.'

Full list of nominees.

I thought I posted this here the other day, but I guess I imagined that... or it didn't go through or something.

All the info is from Dan's Blog. I only copied over the iCarly info, everything else is about Victorious, although Dan did confirm that an extended version of iParty With Victorious will air at some point.

I don't know if anything in here really qualifies as a spoiler, but I'm tagging it that way just in case.

( Info under the cut.Collapse )

The iCarly nominations are the only ones the Nickelodeon network received, so they're up against some heavy hitters from Disney and you know, Glee. In all honesty, and realistically, the other nominees probably have much better chances with their gigantic fanbases, but it would be nice to see an upset.

Note: You have to be a teen to vote (birth date required), so if you're not, do what I did and vote on behalf of a teen you know.

Based on the tag, I'd say this is from a Miranda Cosgrove fansite, but I'm not sure which one since all I can actually see on this computer is the M and the C. It's the same picture that's been released for her appearance on the show, but it much better quality.

The first image from Michelle Obama's appearance on the show has been released. Click on the thumbnail to see the full size image. Trust me, it's worth the clicking to see the expressions on everyone's faces.

The California paper visited the set last week while the cast was filming, and the article about the visit went up on their website on Friday.

Here are some of the pictures they took while filming:

12 more pictures are here.

Since the angle for the article is mainly about the California natives on the show, they spoke with Jennette and Noah. They talk about 'iParty With Victorious' and Jennette talks about Noah being added to the show.

You can check out the article, which has some slight spoilers for the episode they were filming (I think it's episode five?) here.
