Really, this had gone on long enough. DAX considered himself a patient person, but even he had his limits. He traced his tentacle along the door-pad to reveal a darkened, empty room.
Well... empty aside from the heaps of unorganized junk scattered everywhere. He was a
soldier, not a janitor, but everyone he'd ordered to get on this had refused to cooperate and his patience had worn thin. He was going to fix this problem on his own, as he fixed
all important problems lately, it seemed.
His Admiral had a wide collection of bizarre knick-knacks and souvenirs from his travels, but as far as DAX was concerned, if he
really cared about any of this, then he would have sorted through it properly. As it was, DAX wheeled in a large storage bin and began picking through the piles to throw them away. If the Admiral got upset, it'd serve him right for not doing this himself.
Hard at work, and a little annoyed, it'd be relatively easy to approach DAX without him seeing you... at first.
