It was a chance for us to design an event with the same kind of micro-line strategy that informs Absolute and Vertigo. Here's the thing. Everybody has to tie in, but it has an intense, short window. It's a long night. The day has to be saved by the time the sun comes up. It happens in Gotham City. Date: 2026-10-19 11:10 pm (UTC)Then again, the filters don't seem to be necessary through any other issues of this crossover - a group of kids beat up one of the plant monsters in 'Streets of Gotham' - so I guess it's no loss to lose the filters. The threat level of the plants is definitely inconstant, and I'm really not getting the feeling that this is a city-ending danger. Just get Firefly in there with a flamethrower and we'll have it wrapped up by morning.
