Please bring an unopened unwrapped toy to Sabbat on Saturday night for our Toy Drive. All toys will be donated to the 2008 Captain Mike Memorial Toy Drive through GVA.

It is that time again, Time for our Quarterly Beach Cleanup at the Official Gothic Volunteer Alliance Adopted Beach: South Mission Beach. |
Join us @ noon on November 16th for a 2 hour cleanup effort of South Mission Beach.
There will be a group lunch after at Soup Plantation.
We will provide as many Picker-Sticks and Gloves as we can, as well as bottled water.
We recommend you bring the following items:
*Sun-Block (not sun tan lotion, Goths do not tan!)
*A Big Black Hat (The Sun's Rays are Lethal)
*Closed Tow Shoes ( Gothic Flip Flops, Are you Kidding?)
*GVA T-Shirt (Represent!!!)
* A Light Jacket or Sweater (weather changes suddenly on beach)
* A Camera or Video Camera
Children are welcome so long as they are attended.
Cleanup: 12 to 2pm, Group Photo, Lunch @ Soup Plantation.
Directions:
Take Interstate 5 to Sea World Drive. Follow the signs to West Mission Bay Drive. Turn left on Mission Blvd. At the south end of Mission Blvd. turn right into the parking lot.
Public Transit:
Call San Diego Transit at (619) 233-3004 for buses that serve this beach.
Parking:
Extensive free public parking is available at the south end of this beach.This lot fills very quickly on busy summer days and traffic can be heavy at times.
As a thank you for participating, we will be doing drawings after the cleanup for concert tickets to see oGhr (11/18) and The Sisters Of Mercy (11/29) at HOB. (21+)

LEATHER SKATE NIGHT RETURNS!
Where: SkateWorld 6907 Linda Vista Road When: Wed., February 28 7-9 p.m.
Nominated for Best Large Event 2006, this is the second of our highly successful skate nights. Last time, around 80 people showed up from all different communities, Leather and otherwise, and enjoyed a strictly social evening with no fundraising, just fun! The door cost with skates will again be just $10 and there will be door prizes! A great choice for lovers, bring your significant other(s) or come meet new ones if youre single like me. As I proved last time, if you cant skate, you will learn how by the end of the night! I ended up holding on to some pretty hot trainers--come out and try it!
JUST $10 includes skates at this PRIVATE two-hour event at 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Skateworld on 6907 Linda Vista Road , San Diego , CA 92111 (Near Fashion Valley). No fund raising, just FUN!
*$10 includes skate rental (in-line skates are $4 more).
*Two hours private rink rental with a DJ playing 70's/80's classics.

Graffiti Black-Out II this Saturday
We will be meeting at the Park at Orange and 40th at 10am. (Get there a little early) We will paint from 10 am to 12ish and then meet back for a group photo.
If you have rollers and buckets/trays, please bring them.
We need to know who has trucks and can carry paint.
We will gather for a lunch afterwards as usual.
Kids are welcome so long as they can be supervised.
THIS IS GOING TO BE AT TERALTA PARK, WHICH IS DIRECTLY ABOVE THE 15 FREEWAY BETWEEN EL CAJON BLVD AND UNIVERSITY AVE. GET TO IT FROM THE INTERSECTION OF ORANGE AVE AND 40TH. YOU WILL SEE US STAGING AT A
TABLE IN THE PARK
WE WILL WORK IN TEAMS OF 6 SPIRALING OUTWARD FROM THE PARK. THE PARK HAS TONS OF GRAFFITI NOT VISIBLE UNTIL YOU WALK AROUND IT ON FOOT.
THERE IS GRAFFITI IN EVERY DIRECTION FROM THIS PARK, OUR GOAL IS TO CLEAN THE PARK, AND EVERYTHING WE CAN IN A 3 BLOCK RADIUS FROM THE PARK.
