I have a question regarding EPO. I'm now 37 weeks along with my 2nd child. I'm gunning for VBAC as my 1st child I ended up having an emergency C-section after 2 hours of pushing. This time around my Doctor will not be inducing me or aiding me whatsoever with the labor(thank goodness as this is my sincerest wish). However, I'm concerned about going over my due date - to 42 weeks. If no baby by then, it will mean another C-section for me and this is something I truly wish to avoid if at all possible. My Doctor has said I either go all the way on my own, or it will be a C-section.
Up to now everything is set for my VBAC, but I was reading about natural stimulants that may help ripen/soften the cervix. I'm not looking to induce my own labor, but something to help move things along. I read that EPO can do this, but I'm not sure what is exactly 'safe'. Some people suggest taking it orally and others suggest inserting vaginally, while others also suggest to do both.
Has anyone used EPO before with any results? or do you have any other feedback? I'm not looking to start just yet as I feel this baby will come when he's ready, however in order to avoid another C-section I'm checking out different scenarios, which has lead me to a few questions about EPO.

Thanks so much in advance!
