I've actually been obsessed with this pairing for years now, I've just never really... said anything about it, or done anything with it. It started with an MV I saw a few years ago (unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be on YouTube anymore, though), and I instantly fell in love with the idea of the pairing. It just made so much sense to me, unlike a lot of the other cracky Disney crossover couples I've seen.

So, I decided I'd finally give this pairing some love, and what better way to do that than to whip out the old music meme? I swear, this thing never fails me, and I'm totally not addicted to it. <<;

Oh, and, have some more links to other, shorter MVs I found:

1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Put iTunes or equivalent media player on random.
3. For each song that plays, write something related to the theme you picked inspired by the song. You have only the time frame of the song: no planning beforehand: you start when it starts, and no lingering afterward; once the song is over, you stop writing.
4. Do five of these, then post.

Brother Bear & Pocahontas
Kenai x Pocahontas

A/N: AU-ishness, spoilers for both Pocahontas and Brother Bear movies, and pseudo-bestiality/interspecies relationship between a man-turned-bear and a human woman.

Okay, so, apparently all I needed to kick my writer's block in the ass were a bunch of little blue people. Go figure. =P

Did this because I finally saw the movie and absolutely loved it (even if I can't remember ever even liking the series, lol), and because I clearly had nothing better to do at 1:15 in the morning. :D

( There is a place. A place that knows no sadness, where even feeling blue is a happy thing. A place inhabited by little, blue beings three apples high. It lies deep within an enchanted forest, hidden away beyond a medieval village. Most people believe this place is made up, only to be found in books or children's imagination. Well, we beg to differ.Collapse )

It had to happen sooner or later, right?

I would have done this sooner, but every time I tried, the inspiration would fall flat. I think it had something to do with the fact that I was trying to use the general fandom, when my mind was stuck on Paul/Tara. So, I'd try to churn something out for one of the other characters or potential pairings, and nothing would happen, 'cause I was forcing something I didn't want to do. ^^;

Warning: spoilers (for both movie and script versions), interspecies relationship/xenophilia.

I'm feeling better and more positive today about this whole doctor thing, so, I decided to do this meme again, and this time just for fun – meaning I didn't do it for character study or anything of that sort, and even managed to keep the drabbles themselves angst-free. :)

So, it's not a full blown fic, but it's good enough for now, until I get a solid idea – which I probably won't get until either I watch all of the Hannibal movies in sequence, or get my hands on the books. Oh well.

Someone should report me, seriously, 'cause the way I abuse this meme isn't even funny. But it's a good way to get a handle on a fandom/pairing/character. And that's exactly what I need right now, a better grip on Aladdin's Mozenrath. I have epic ficcage in mind, but I fail every time I try, so I figure maybe I should start out small and then my work my way to the bigger, more complex theories and ideas I hope to one day explore.

And anyway, above all else, this guy deserves as much love as he can get!

Aladdin
Mozenrath

Pairings: Destane x Mozenrath, Mozenrath x Aladdin, Mozenrath x Jasmine, Mozenrath x Saleen, Mozenrath x Sadira, and Mozenrath x Hercules (canon crossover; Hercules and the Arabian Night).

Warnings: minor spoilers, torture (half-hanging, waterboarding), manipulation, adult/youth, implied sex, treachery.

Also, I've hinted that Jafar's Mozenrath's father. Er, yeah. That's one of those theories I mentioned above. It stems from this one part in an episode where Iago asks Mozenrath how he knew Jafar/where Jafar's secret lab-place-thingie was, and Mozenrath doesn't reply. I dunno. I felt the implied connection there was deep, so I went with it.

Anyway. Onward.
