The first developer beta of macOS Golden Gate was released on June 8, 2026.[6] macOS Golden Gate runs on all Macs with an Apple M1 or A18 Pro chip or later. Apple Intelligence features are supported on all Macs, but only those with an M3 chip or later with at least 12 GB of RAM support on-device Siri AI.[7] Golden Gate also drops support for all Macs with an Intel processor.[8]
