Good day. My name is Critical Hippo. I have contributed over 400 edits. I believe I have gained sufficient experience to patrol articles. The exemplar article I'd like to submit in consideration of my request is TV Edwards. I believe this article demonstrates the high quality contributions I have made to the platform. I would like to extend my contributions to the platform through reviewing and supporting others to improve their contributions. Thank you for considering my request.  Not done The creation of your RfP is the first edit on this wiki, and due to the presence of rights like autopatrol in the group, you will need more contributions on this wiki before obtaining the right here. I also noted you cited an example of a page you created on enwiki, if you meant to request patroller on en.wikipedia.org you should request it at en:Wikipedia:Requests for permissions.- FusionSub (Talk page) (Contributions) 19:38, 1 October 2026 (UTC)reply

I am requesting the patroller permission. I have more than 560 edits and have created almost 100 articles. I actively patrol new pages, help new users improve notable articles, participate in deletion discussions, nominate pages for deletion when needed, and notify creators on their talk pages. I would like the patroller permission to help me review new pages more efficiently. Thank you. Aurafish (talk) 00:02, 6 August 2026 (UTC)reply

Because patroller includes autopatrol, I am a little concerned by Femi Adebayo. It was deleted as a copy and while there was some simplification, it was pretty close to the original. Some of your other pages, like Paul Bindrim use words and sentences that aren't really simple. I'd like to see your new pages become a little more simple before granting autopatrol. Thanks for all your work here generally, especially patrolling new pages! For now,  Not done. Garsh (talk) 19:19, 9 August 2026 (UTC)reply
@Garsh2 Thanks for the feedback. I understand the concern, especially regarding the simplicity of the language and the Femi Adebayo deletion. I’ve been working on creating and improving several articles, and I’ll pay more attention to keeping the wording simple and avoiding sentences that are too close to the source. I’ll continue working on this and may reapply for autopatrol after I’ve built up a stronger record of simple-English articles. Aurafish (talk) 19:32, 9 August 2026 (UTC)reply
