Kids are doing great. My boy loves his sister and is adjusting well. My daughter is growing and smiling, and generally being a handful. Having two kids is a lot harder than having one, but I am keeping my head above water with the help of my wonderful husband. Speaking of Jonny, we have been married SEVEN YEARS today! It sure doesn't feel like 7 years... It feels like only 2, and forever at the same time. <3

And now for the goodbye. I have been here on lj for almost 7 years as well. I have made and lost many acquaintances, and made and kept many friends. I have grown a lot in all this time, and I think it's time for me to leave lj. I don't have the time to keep up with it, and I won't be able to do much art for a long time. But most of all I have more lasting and important things to focus on without having to worry about keeping up with my lj. I need to focus on my family more; I have been slacking in some ways there. I'll be making this lj private till I can archive some memories, then deleting it.
A large part of me is finding it really hard to do this, but I know its the best thing right now. I may open a MySpace later when I have more time due to so many of my close friends and cousins being on there (HAPPY BIRTHDAY Lorrin). For anyone who really cares to keep up with me, you can always email me. I do manage to make time for email. You can also keep up with me art-wise on my DA page. :)

Sorry this was not updated sooner... Our car went the way of all the earth after it managed to get us to the hospital, so we have been preoccupied with that as well as our new daughter.

I just got back from the hospital today! Here are the particulars:
Born on the afternoon of the 5th.
21.5 inches long, 7lbs 12oz.
Beautiful little mouth, dark hair, and her big brother is quite taken with her so far! :)

As you can imagine, I'll be rather busy for a while. I'm a mom of two now, sleep-deprived, and terribly concerned over the car situation. We have to find something fast. c_c;;;
Keep us in your prayers and thoughts. <3

Any day now. I'm not due till the 3rd, but I am now 2 centimeters dilated and 60% effaced. I'm hoping I won't blow before my mother-in-law gets here tomorrow night. c_c

I'll have someone post info. here once the baby is born. After that you won't hear from me much for a while (I'm sure some of you remember what it was like after my son was born)!

This is all according to Jonny. Personally, I feel like "barge" mom. A barge with one very active passenger. x_x

Anyway, the baby shower was so much fun and everyone made it so beautiful. The estrogen levels were high, and scary pregnancy stories were rampant. So much awesome! X) We got so many wonderful gifts (mostly clothes and gift cards). Saturday we went shopping for the last few things we really NEED, and all those gift cards helped a lot. I washed tons of the new clothes/sheets/etc, and now my baby girl's little nook is almost ready! I also finished filling out all the "thank you" cards over the weekend; I feel so accomplished!
Can you tell I'm paranoid that I'm going to go into labor at any time? o_o

Not getting much sleep any more. Too uncomfortable all the time, and not just at night. Oh, and my son and I are sick again which REALLY makes it fun! u_u I can feel myself morphing into "recluse" mode already. I want Jonny to be here all the time, but I don't really want to see any one else. Talk to a few people on the phone, but thats it.
My baby shower is on Friday and that cheers me up a little.

I'm just being a wet blanket right now. I'm super tired, sick AGAIN, and feeling so uncomfortable. I feel awful for my son because he is coughing so much and I am so not capable of do much with him.
Watching him play with his new dinosaurs and hearing him SAY "dunisauur" warms my heart though. As sick as he is, he is still mostly happy. I need to learn from him. <3

My son's 2nd birthday went wonderfully! He had a great time, and I didn't stress myself. Plus we still have plenty of yummy cake to keep me happy. ^_^ I'll have some photos to show off later.
Great big loves to all who came to the party, gifted him, and/or wished him a happy birthday!

With the birthday party out of the way, I now have one month to:
A. Finish preparing my daughter's "space" for her arrival.
B. Baby shower in 2 weeks!
C. Buying whatever else we need.
D. Packing my hospital bag.
E. Go on at least one real date with Jonny. o_o

Count down: one month!

My cold turned into a painful sinus infection just in time for Lorrin's visit. Still, we had an awesome time with her and her son, and the pain cleared up after a few days of antibiotics. Miss them both tons already.
I want to move back to Utah dang it...

Anyway, plugging away at preparing for the baby (only 36 days to go; I am in my nesting stage) and my son's second birthday party! Busy busy busy, round round round. c_c

Just caught-up with my friends page... I haven't been very internet active for a bit. Our family has been sick with a communal cold, thus little sleep has been had. I'll just try and type up a quick messy update:

Our 4th of July was fun and relaxed. My boy loved his first experience with BIG fireworks, and we got a lot done with rearranging the apartment. Peanut is adjusting well to his new twin bed, and it's fun to wake up to his soft tickles in the mornings (he can open doors on his own now). He is growing up so fast; he'll be 2 in less than a month! I have kept busy planning for his party and planning for my baby girl... She is due in less than 2 months now!

Just had some maternity photos taken. If anyone is interested in seeing them let me know. :)

SUPER EXCITED about next week! We'll be driving up into TN to pick-up happynownikki and her son. We didn't think we would see them again for years, so this is an awesome treat! They will be staying with us from Sunday to Thursday. SO so so excited!!! ^___^

Still have not seen any of the movies we wanted to see this summer. Never any time, and when there is time there is no one to baby-sit. :(

Isn't that art amazing!? Tiina really knows how to create dragons, and I sure needed a lot of help with this. I have had my true avatar in my mind for a long loooong time, but it was never too clear. I gave Tiina a lot of little details and vague ideas and she produced exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend her talents. :)
Please take a look at the character sheet and let me know if I forgot anything. This is the first one I've ever done.

A while back I mentioned that I was going back to a dragon avatar. Something much more ME, what it should have been all along based on my personality, dreams, etc.
