Character description: She's described as pug-faced, but generally she's got that difficult Slytherin look about her. She's a nasty girl with a even nastier Draco fixation. She's now the oldest girl in Slytherin and flounces about the place like she's the queen. She's generally disagreeable and enjoys putting others down, though she's learned to stay away from putting down Neville ever since Hermione hexed her in the hallway one day. (( ... Perhaps she's a prefect?))
Background: Pansy comes from a pretty typical old-school pureblood family. She was never an exceptional talent in anything though she could be if she put her mind to her studies instead of her social standing. She is an only child. Her father was very distant as a child and so she is very much her mother's daughter. Pansy's primary goal in life is to marry another pureblood ... and I'll flesh this out more as she gets played.
Romantic interests: She's obviously got a huge Draco fixation, though I honestly see it as more that she recognizes that he's someone who's going places. At this point, I'm going to say that she has no romantic interests...
Sample plot post of your character: Entering the Slytherin common room, Pansy saw a house-elf putting out platters of snacks. It was finals week and she had ordered food to be supplied for the late-night study sessions. Going over, she gave the house-elf a firm kick before grabbing a handful of crisps. The house-elf squealed and disappeared and it was all Pansy could do not to spit on the spot where the house-elf had stood. She checked to make sure nothing was missing... she didn't trust those house-elves at all and wouldn't be surprised if things were missing. After a few moments, she gave up in a puff and fell into one of the large green chairs. She noticed one of the sixth-year girls sitting across from her, near the fireplace. Her face was buried in a book. "Think it'll help, trying to cram all that in at the last minute?" she sneered. "Now hand over your Potions notes!"
Sample personal journal character post: It was exhausting, making sure that no one overstepped their social boundaries in the Slytherin house. Pansy'd had a busy day, yelling at underclassmen, kicking lower years out of her favorite chair, and making sure someone else did her homework. She'd hardly had time to bully people from the other houses. She wished Draco would pay more attention to her - Pansy was the top girl in their house, clearly a good choice... she was a pure-blood and understood how he ticked... not like that nasty redhead Muggle-lover Ginny Weasley.
Why do you want to join this RP?: Because I don't have enough loss of social life and desperately want to add yet another character. Woot for canon.
Comments: Yeah, y'all know I'll play her. She'll be fun. Right now I've got her as the archetypal Slytherin... cold-blooded, calculating, a bully, manipulative, and a coward at heart. I just don't see her having a lot of diverse qualities... not yet, at least.
