Listens: Glee Cast - Take Me Or Leave Me

SIR COLFER

so today I went to Chris Colfer's book signing. :D I posted this same stuff on tumblr, so if you'd rather go there..

ANYWAY. pictures and that exact same tumblr text under the cut, cause let's be real.

so I woke up feeling insanely dizzy and off balance, and basically stumbling around like a drunk person. I have no idea WHY, but it wasn’t the best way to start the day.

anyway. it.. mostly? kinda? went away, but I started feeling weird again on the drive over. barely ate. and I was going to pass the time just sitting on the floor, looking through cookbooks, but I started to feel so gross and clammy again that I just gave up and… flopped over onto the ground. I stayed like that until I had to join the line.

so yeah, uh, if you saw a girl just lying on the floor of the store in the Spirituality section, that was why. :(

regardless! all during this, the announcer dude was saying the rules; no posed pictures, only signing the book, etc etc. he ALSO said that once we reached the table, we could hand our cameras to the security/employee standing there and they would take a picture while Chris signs our stuff.

this did not happen.

they got started a little late, and the crowd was, of course, huge, so I guess they felt they needed to rush through everyone. (also I’m sure Chris had a flight or something to get to, since he’s on set tomorrow.) so while on one hand, it’s impressive how quickly they got people through…

I can’t help but feel a little let-down. after seeing so much wonderful stuff from the rest of the signings, I had hoped to be able to say at least ONE of the five billion things I’d like to talk with him about, you know? or like, my name, even. but I felt so rushed and pressured to HURRY UP!!!! that I got even more flustered, so.. yeah. nothing was achieved.

(not rushed by HIM, I should add. cause he is a precious wonderful human being.)

and okay, I lied. SOMETHING was achieved beyond not throwing up at all! I gave him a Diet Coke tote bag we got from Target, cause I am a huge nerd. :D he laughed a little and seemed to dig it enough/was nice enough to pretend.

(and yes, he called me sweetie. d’aww. I am like nine years older than him but DO I CARE? no. no I do not.)

all in all, I don’t regret it or anything, and I hope he comes back for the next book so I can do it again! I’m just jealous of people with better stories to tell, and let-down by the rush. and, you know. annoyed I felt so gross. but Chris was lovely, and I still wish to magically become his BFF the end.

;P

because why not?
