| 01. First and foremost, this is about having fun. I hope both the moderators, the players, and everyone else involved in this community can keep that in mind at all times. No matter what we may be doing. 02. Players must be active and have both a journal and AIM screenname for the character. We are a third-person storybook based community, so if that's not how you write, go find somewhere else. Updates must be made to your journal at least once every two weeks. Players will be reminded two days before the deadline if they need to update to stay in the game. If they do not, they will be removed from the player list and may reapply at a later time. 03. Keep your drama in check. That means both IC (in character) and OOC (out of character). And do not mix the two. If a character breaks your character's heart, don't be mad at the person playing the character. Similarly, if you don't like who's playing the character, don't let it interfere with your relationship with that person's character. Remember, we're all here to have fun. 04. This community is very open to interpretation. That being said, if the topic of storyline you happen to want to pursue seems touchy (pregnancy, domestic abuse, criminal offences, etc) either talk to a mod or the person you're writing with and ask them if it's alright to go ahead with. Remember, we like interesting events in your characters lives, but interesting doesn't necessarily mean horrible or emo. Please, no emo. 05. Due to rules about disclaimers and such on livejournal. All journals must contain a disclaimer in their profile, as well as have their homepage set to this community profile. Anything along the lines of "this journal is fake and for roleplaying purposes only" will do, because if someone stumbles across your journal and takes it seriously, you could be in big trouble. 06. As a member of this community, you are agreeing that your character's journal will be exclusive to this community, and that you will not cross in-game storylines with personal or outside storylines. |
