So after I reinstalled Firefox to fix the problem it was happening, the problem is happening again. WHY.
I am going to be doing a dance for the Kansai Gaidai International Festival, it's called Aitakatta. You can find videos of the dance on Youtube - I think you can find them if you just search for 会いたかった. I started after everyone else did, though, so I have to catch up.
Monday was pretty normal; had the midterm, which seemed short for some reason. Afterwards I started reading the book for the class on Tuesday. Finished the book during my lunch break on Tues, over all liked it (It's called A Quiet Life), discussed it in class then went to my first practice for the Aitakatta dance, which took until 8. Wednesday talked about war propoganda in Japan in Western Film and Lit, and again in my modern Japanese lit class today, because we're reading Black Rain. War propoganda = disgusting, and I'm kind of astounded by all the history about WWII that I'm learning in these classes which we didn't even touch on in high school. I feel like our history classes concentrated way to much on the European angle of the war, because there's a lot of stuff I've never even heard of for the Japan angle of it.
It recently got really cold, which should make wearing my not-very-warm Halloween costume interesting. Tomorrow we're having a Halloween celebration here, costume contest and all. Should be fun, I hope. I just have to figure out how to get from my house to Kansai Gaidai without freezing my butt off.

United Airlines FAILS AT LIFE.
I'd comment more on it, but it would end up being a huge rant on airlines and disabilities and people thinking that if you don't look disabled obviously you aren't (newsflash: that's bullshit), so I won't.
I will, however, say that if I ever found out someone treated my mom like that, I'd do everything in my power to try to make it bite the jerks in the ass. I am very happy that this woman's story seems to be circling around the internet so thoroughly; hopefully, the people responsible at United will learn from this the hard way.

I have a cold, a satire piece due on Friday for my humor writing class, a reaction paper and a class "wikipedia" entry due on Monday, and an essay due on the 13th.
And yet, what I'm choosing to worry about is what to get a friend for his birthday. WTF, self, WTF.

After about two weeks of hair pulling and excessive borrowing of my roommate's computer, I HAVE INTERNET.
Also a new computer which I need to get used to, but. Whatever.

Comment and I'll add you, IF I know who you are.

Yeah, high school is so ridiculous in what they teach you. I mean, it's an okay start, I guess, but it's clearly from a Western/American/Good Guys perspective, and there's…
