"The happy ending of the fairy tale, the myth, and the divine comedy of the soul, is to be read, not as a contradiction, but as a transcendence of the universal tragedy of man. The objective world remains what it was, but because of a shift of emphasis within the subject, is beheld as though transformed. . .Tragedy is the shattering of the forms and of our attachment to the forms; comedy, the wild and careless, inexhaustible joy of life invincible. Thus the two are the terms of a single mythological theme. . .: the down-going and the up-coming, which together constitute the totality of the revelatin that is life..." Ridiculous.
Alright, so I'm watching the local news right now... The weather guy says, "The current temperature is 48 degrees. ...It aint never been that cold- that we know of- on this day" Then he said something about it getting icey and "simmering down"...?? And the chick was talking about some kids that disappeared. She described the town they're from as "In between Milledgeville and Augusta." (And, for reference-- it takes about an hour and a half, two hours to get to Macon from Atlanta...) | | Friday, April 22nd, 2005 | 2:06 pm [elle_zua]

I'm sitting in the living room with my dad-- I just played him Electric 6. He thought it was funny. We're listening to The Sound of Day now-- and he likes it how I like it. So, good job. <3 | 7:42 pm [m_kay] |

i was humored... tonight i was eating at denny's with ryan and this fat dorky asian kid was talking.. loudly.. to his dorky fat(ter) girl friends. he said something like "come on, just pick a hole, jesus." and.. it just kind of stood out over the other noises and voices.. but no one seemed to really react.. but come on.. we are in simi and some guy is talking about having sex with jesus, hahhahaha... but. like.. 4 minutes after he said that.. this girl a few tables over says "that was a good one"... while looking at no one in particular. all the people around turned to figure out who she was talking to.. heh.. then she looked up at the asian guy.. and was like.. "that one about jesus, that was a good one" oh simi valley... Current Mood: dusty | | Monday, April 11th, 2005 | 1:16 am [elle_zua]

Date: Apr 11, 2005 1:16 AM Subject: For the record... Body: I realize the conversation we had Saturday night was ridiculous because we were both drunk, but it's been bothering me, so I'd like to bring it back to the table, if that's alright. I just want you to know that I'm still sticking to I have my shit together. You may only see that I have a place to live, a school to attend, a car to drive, etc etc etc... But you're not seeing what I've paid to get these things, what I'm doing to keep these things, or the value I've given these things. Beside that, I still don't think me having my shit together has much to do with economics. I think it has much more to do with having a plan and working towards a goal. I won't marry Wesley because he doesn't. That's the difference. | 12:43 am [elle_zua]

AH! I love it! I absolutely love it. I laughed through the entire interests list... And I'm pretty sure this is the epitome of it all. Anyway, last night we had people over for poker, and this guy, Johnathan, parked his car near where I park mine. And, I don't know if you've seen Georgia plates or not, but they have the county on the bottom of them. His is from Butts county... Which brings me to my list of stupid counties in Georgia (originally on the list of "Why I hate living here"): 1. Bibb County 2. Lumpkin County 3. Effingham County 4. Butts County There are other ones that aren't as funnny; just stupid. But! I guess you will have to see them yourself. <3 | | Saturday, April 9th, 2005 | 2:26 pm [m_kay] |
