I thought it was trial and error, memorizing the correct turns. The open door is in the opposite direction you're looking when you turn the corner

I'll have to try again to be sure, but I thought it was: always follow the exit sign, see that it will be a dead end then turn to the opposite side; preemptively going to the opposite side didn't seem to work.

I ran around this bit for a while - you have to follow the exit signs but the blocked off ways are always the first direction your looking so have to look in the opposite direction to where the sign points first.

you have to look at the exit sign, face your camera in the opposite direction to the "closed" side and then walk through the door on each level. the exit sign changes direction.

Hall 1 look left walk right
Hall 2 look left walk right
hall 3 look right walk left
etc.

The closed door is always the one you look towards first

Thus, to look last in the correct direction is the way to go

That doesn't work though. Followed exactly this video and still stuck at Hall 1 forever.
Makes me almost wanna drop this game. The puzzle is badly designed

It does work. gotta look at the opposite direction to the sign to see a closed exit, then walk through the door. You dont have to walk backwards through the door though so long as you look at the dead end first

Easiest method is look slightly left or right until you see red, then walk in the opposite direction.

So if you look slightly left and see a red glow, then go right.

the dead end spawns in the direction in which you look first.

It's facing opposite the way the exit sign is facing

Look at the opposite side of the arrow to reveal to blocked road.

The exit sign indicates the way you need to leave from. Look the opposite way to make sure the dead end is there, and then go the way the sign is facing. Clever puzzle
