I don't understand what the ♥♥♥♥ is going on with this new Anti-cheat. I cannot enter the game. I get kicked to very first main menu with this error "The client is not running the anti-cheat, or has failed the anti-cheat authentication."

Same, i tried reinstalling, restarting, running anti cheat repair, nothing working.
Hey there!

Please try the following:

- Renaming the folder located at C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Saved Games\Respawn so that the game is forced to create a fresh version upon the next launch.

- Verifying your game files:
1. For the EA app, go to your library → click on the 3 dots of Apex. → Repair
2. For Steam, go to your library → right-click on Apex. → Properties → Local Files → Verify integrity of game files.

- Reinstalling Javelin manually:

1. Navigate to C:\Program Files\EA\AC (or browse local files via Steam/EA app to locate the Javelin subfolder).
2. Right-click EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe and select Run as Administrator.
3. Select Apex Legends from the drop-down menu and click Repair (or click "Uninstall All" and let the game reinstall a fresh copy upon next launch).

If that won't help, try running Steam/EA App and the anti-cheat as administrator:

1. Completely close Steam/EA App (exit it from your Windows taskbar tray by the clock).
2. Right-click your Steam (or EA App) desktop shortcut, choose Properties -> Compatibility, and check "Run this program as an administrator". Open the launcher.
3. Go to the folder where your Apex Legends is installed. Look for the anti-cheat file (inside the game's folder under a subfolder named EasyAntiCheat or EA AntiCheat-usually called EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe). Right-click it, go to Properties -> Compatibility, and check "Run this program as an administrator" too.

Also, check if you have any of these installed, as they are proven to trigger the exact same block:

• RawAccel (a mouse acceleration program-even if you deleted the app, its hidden background driver might still be running).

• Voicemeeter (or any other virtual audio cable programs).

• VPN software (like NordVPN, ProtonVPN, or Radmin)-for several users, completely uninstalling their VPN was the only thing that finally fixed Apex.

• Vanguard Anti-Cheat.
- Running the game or the EA App as administrator.

Lastly try:

- Adding the game as an antivirus exception.
1. Open Windows Security.
2. Go to Virus & threat protection settings > Manage settings > Exclusions.
3. Add an exclusion for the `C:\Program Files\EA` folder and for each of your EA game folders.
4. Restart your PC.

Let me know if any of these help!

my experience:

1. Renaming folder to make a new one (❌didn't work). (I can tell it made a new one cause i never hear music in the menu and now i did)

2. Did the steam file verification (❌didn't work)

3. Tried uninstall ALL and repair (❌ didn't work) (after repair or uninstall all it would just "download update" or "reinstalling" when apex is booted)

4. Gonna be honest here.... This is one hell of a work around just to play 1 game of TDM (👎 Shouldn't be necessary to set steam and the anti-cheat to run as admin)

5. Never used RawAccel or VPNs. Windows was freshly restarted and I don't even play games with Vanguard Anti-Cheat. Voicemeeter was uninstalled before even this error ever occurred but for precautions I've removed : blatant drivers, hidden/leftover drivers, and more (❌ didn't work)

6. Gonna be honest here.... This is one hell of a work around just to play 1 game of TDM (👎 Shouldn't be necessary to ever add anti virus exceptions unless I've set my antivirus to be aggressive)

Final result: ❌Not Fixed❌

if you have more suggestions I'm willing to try them out

Update: 8 hours after posting... it's fixed with no changes done by me... just woke up and launched the game and i can finally enter the firing range. Left my PC on all night so not even a restart occurred ❓❓❓
Same problem. Even if you do reinstall/restart pc/verify, game simply crashes in a middle of a match.

i am having the same stupid issue. and with Arc raiders as well
Title: Apex Legends Won't Launch on Steam or EA — Javelin Errors, Silent Exits, and No Error Code
I've been troubleshooting an ongoing issue where Apex Legends intermittently refuses to launch through Steam. Initially, I was getting an EA Javelin AntiCheat error telling me to restart my PC.Even on restarts the game moost of ther time closes the splash screen and Steam goes back from Stop to Play without showing any error at all (same on ea launcher exact same).

What I've experienced

EA Javelin AntiCheat error: EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe (2) (1052).

Reliability Monitor recorded EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe crashing with a BEX64 error and exception 0xc0000409.

Sometimes Apex launches successfully after troubleshooting, but the issue returns unpredictably.

What I've tried

Restarting the PC.

Verifying Apex's game files through Steam.

Uninstalling and reinstalling EA AntiCheat/Javelin multiple times.

Running the AntiCheat installer manually as administrator.

Trying different launch orders and combinations of verification/reinstallation.

Uninstalling Cloudflare WARP after finding a separate WARP crash in Reliability Monitor. WARP is no longer running.

Checking Reliability Monitor and examining Windows minidumps with WinDbg.

The latest AntiCheat installer log showed some uninstall failures (FileDelete failed:104 and service error 1072), but the subsequent service installation and overall installation reported success. Despite that, Apex still silently exits.

I'm looking for help identifying the actual cause rather than repeating the same reinstall steps. Has anyone experienced this combination of Javelin errors, BEX64 crashes, and Apex silently closing back to Steam's Play button? Any suggestions for useful logs or a fix would be appreciated.
yeah same damn thing nothing works 3k hrs in this damn game for whatt

Same, I can't even start the game. Nothing even pops up
