Crashing & Troubleshooting Issues? Look here!
Once the above is completed, you can try some of these workarounds found by the community for now:
- Add the launch option -no_render_on_input_thread to your game's settings.
- Remove Realtek drivers and let Windows install generic ones. Check here.
- If you're using a sound card, make sure its drivers are updated (or disconnect it to check if it does something). Example here.
- Disable virtualization and X3D Gaming Boost (or Intel Game Boost) in your BIOS, and set up power save mode.
- Downgrading your motherboard BIOS to a previous version. (edited)

If you are experiencing crashing & troubleshooting Issues, please check out the steps below before making a report!

- Your drivers are updated and installed correctly. You can also try rolling them back, and see if that makes a difference. EXTREMLY important to reinstall drivers clean (with DDU, for example) as a simple reinstall doesn't do the job most of the time.
- Your Windows version is updated.
- You are not undervolting or changing the clock speed of your graphics card.
- Your files are not corrupted: verify the integrity of the game files through your game launcher.
1. For EA app, go to your library → click on the 3 dots of Apex → Repair
2. For Steam, go to your library → right-click on Apex. → Properties → Local Files → Verify integrity of game files.

Thanks for trying! Could you share your specs and region please? Also briefly describe your issue just for reference.
I also did everything and nothing helped, Windows 11 25H2, RTX 4070, Ryzen 7 5700x3d, 32 GB RAM
So you are telling me that all my games works perfectly fine with Undervolting, but APEX specifically cannot work decently with it, like seriously?!

Because I am getting an pc restart on AMD 7 9800x3d with Aorus 5090.
Gsync+Vsync Enabled in Nvidia.
My undervolt/overclock
950 Mv
2950 Hz
+1000 Mhz on memory
90% Power Limit

What is your region? Also, are you experiencing crashing or performance issues?
MY ISSUE STILL HASNT BEEN FIXED FOR A WEEK ALL MAPS HAVE GLITCHING BLUE TEXTURES
All of my maps. All of the game modes have blue textures glitching and flying, literally jittering on my screen. This has been happening for A WEEK, and it can't be solved by restarting my pc or client, or verifying game files. My drive is up-to-date. APEX is the only one having this issue. My other games with high graphics ain't got any issues.

The game isn't laggy or crashing. It's just the textures are like this, and I can't play when it's glitching everything, and I can't see anything. This never happened to me before. I played other games, but it's not like this. Only Apex is giving me this much of a headache!!!

I tried contacting EA about this, but I haven't gotten any response.

Radeon RX 580 Series
AMD Ryzen 5 2600X Six-Core Processor (3.60 GHz)
RAM 16.0 GB
Windows 11 Pro

This is the same stuff I have been using for years with no issue in your game. But ever since you updated something a few days ago, the game has been buggy and glitchy. The issue is not on my end.

Hi. Have you tried all troubleshooting steps posted on this thread? And any of the workarounds? This is the only report I've seen about this so it could be hardware related. Feel free to let me know if you see any similar reports.

I have sent this to the team.
Apparently this has nothing to do with the motherboard bio or driver version. I've tried other games like valo which consume more CPU than the other games and i got no issue at all.

I couldnt launch the game since last patch and only APEX causing the overclock issue. Can someone from the dev look into it?
Well I still have a mystery program that since the update keeps an EA games from running but they cannot even tell me what it is, I am so done with this company going elsewhere

Poland, I'm experiencing random freezes and fps drops without crashing
I am repeatedly crashing on game launch. i cannot get past the splash screen, the game freezes on the waiting for game part. ive tried basically everything short of a fresh windows install. started suddenly on 11/20 update. literally came home, updated apex, changed nothing else, and started getting this problem. had hundreds of hours on the exact same settings/system before this without any issue. im getting a clock timeout error. including:
-run as admin
-played pubg for a few hours and it runs fine
-removed discord, nvidia, and steam overlay
-adding -dx12 launch argument
-add firewall exceptions to everything
-try to start the game while offline
-verify EAC integrity using CMD
-reinstall on steam
-verify game integrity
-install on EA
-delete and reinstall EAC only
-updated bios (was on an old version)
-updated GPU driver
-lenovo vantage and updated everything that could be updated
-removed/disabled overclock/undervolt both on application level (in throttlestop) and bios level (disabled CPU OC/UV in bios)
-removed GPU OC as well
-verified that other games using EAC start and run correctly
-run command console system health check commands
sfc /scannow and dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
-checked samsung storage firmware and errors via magician

hello update all of the steps in this trend and workarounds didn't work for me. But I solved it! Turns out it was a hardware related that I just needed to update it. Thanks.
Tried all that...

Nothing worked.
