Does PS4 Controller Work?

I heard steam is adding compatability for the Dualshock 4. I plugged it in on big picture mode and I can control the steam overlay, but when I start the game, the controller doesnt work anymore. Is there a way to use the PS4 controller when the game launches?

Steam works with that controller but the game is a different story. It wants XBox 360 controller and nothing else.

Anyway, as I understand it, if Dualshock has the same support as the Steam Controller, you can map its buttons to keyboard keys in Steam's interface. Or maybe someone has done it.

I'm not sure but maybe take a took at the controller setting in big picture mode or in the controller settings in the steam overlay (you can disable it being the big picture mode overlay by the way).
