I love your game.
its becoming a favorite. Only problem I have is I can't figure out how to upgrade my back pack. Am I missing something?

Hey, you can only upgrade the weight limit for your Inventory/Backpack... You can use the skill tree for that, there are 3 perks that will allow you to do it.
The limited inventory is a bit of a pain at first because it's not just for your normal questing loot. It also crafting materials and shop produce you have to store, so I have to keep trying to find places to store my stuff and it hurts when you have to dump something to make room for something more valuable. It's lost profit man.

At some point in the near future I'll actually redesign the whole inventory and hopefully we can have more slots or at least a way to upgrade the amount with a backpack or another item. You're correct, the more items I add to the game, the more need for space there is.

Just a idea would say, items you mean to sell in the shop could have a (send to stock) button. Of course there would have to be a 'stock' storage back at your shop. Or likewise with crafting matts. Something along those lines may relieve some of the frustration with inventory allowance.
Thank you for responding so quickly. I'm glad to see that others are having problems with this issue too. Every time I go to collect fish I can't because there are so many different kinds of fish that I never seem to have enough spaces in my inventory to put them.

Yeah, my log and stone hunts never last long before that old dreaded red wight symbol pops up. Cuts one's expeditions down to no further than my front garden.
Not a game killer by a long chalk but a bit of a frustration none the less.
Or as a quickfix just double the stacks. They are a trifle mean at the moment.
You know what would be perfect and remove the frustration that the lack of space creates? Craft and sell from storage. It would make the game so much more enjoyable. No one likes having to run back and to for items from their containers.

You can already do this if you upgrade your chests, I keep all my crops downstairs and I can use my seed maker in the farm area, restock shelves, and use the different cooking / crafting tables without having anything in my inventory. The only time I need to carry stuff is if I'm building something, as you can't do that remotely

Jeez, I wish I had known this before. I have been going through the agony of inventory hell.
I have no idea where or how to update my chests, I only have 2 choices at the moment and I don't think either give you the craft from chests skill.

It's not one of those skills you only get in the last 5 minutes of the game is it?

This is what happens when you refuse to watch or read anything about the game because of spoilers. You end up in the dark about everything until it's to late.

What Tier builders hammer are you using? It might not show with the lowest. If you look at a wooden chest, you should see which keys to press to open, quick deposit or upgrade. The higher tier chest, the larger range

I have the iron hammer. I would think the next will be gold. I can make a normal and a iron chest but didn't bother with the iron chest because it didn't look to give much more value than the normal wood one. I guess this is where I thought wrong.

I think I'm going to have to give in and watch a guide of some sort.
Could add an upgrade system where you pay the king to upgrade your backpack
