I would prefer some sort of "Anniversary Edition" or something like that, where you can get it with all or most of the DLC's included for a small discount. Would also help to attract more and new players.

Free weekend would do the job.
I remember that it took place once, and the number of players shot up immediately - it was even visible in the prices on Steam Market.

Get the odd one that comes on sale till you only needed 2 or 3... Then get the collection for a few quid...
Once you get the collection bundle all future dlc have an extra discount. So i just wait on the sale for new dlc's and it comes up with that discount and a little extra discount ontop from having the collection XD
I can get the dlc at release for something like £1 cheaper just cos i got the collection bundle XD
