Kind of a neat demo. But it's still a burden on an already CPU taxing game. Nice proof of concept, though.
Do you think it will have trouble running smooth? Im gonna give it a shot later and hopefully it doesnt lag real bad.

We likely won't be able to know. It depends on the specs of the PC.
Call me biased but I think it runs pretty well ;)

I have a 3060 and get over 60fps at medium game settings and native Quest 3 resolution. Sort of no point going over 60 due to how the game engine works. You're rendering the game twice, once per each eye, so it does take more GPU performance than running the game normally.

It ran very well for me! It was so much fun.. Thanks a ton man.
Yes runs well for me too. I still play in normal mode as it is a bit straining to play in vr but it is very interesting to walk through ships or bases.

Yeah it can be too much although flying a ship from the cockpit or exploring is very interesting. Also the guns work really well too which was pretty cool.
Is anyone having issues trying to use it. My headset is stuck in monitor mode which is not the same as the video shows. I know it's in beta. I use a MetaQuest 3.
I cant imaging how it handles build complexity but just experiencing your survival world for a walk around would be cool.
